The connectors are very touchy, I spent hours trying to get the exact right connection on each of my splices, shouldn’t be that hard.

Not only is it cheaper, but you get more LEDs, the ability to cut and reconnect the strips together (with a satisfactorily long cable fit connecting two runs), and it all still works with the Amazon echo
The LEDs get a little warm after some use, but not to a point where I am worried about them being driven too hard.
