Reviews around product (5.00 of 5)

  • I loved this product, it came earlier than expected, it was at the perfect
  • tt games has obviously been working to perfect their product and design throughout Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Batman, and Indiana Jones II, and all that work has paid off in Harry Potter.

Reviews around story (5.00 of 5)

  • I love the story and it is easy enough for him to keep up
  • The game followes the actual story/ movies pretty well but would be fun even if you haven't seen the movies or read the books.
  • The game allows you to explore familiar territory like Hogwarts Castle, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade, and locks you into certain rooms or paths when they want you to complete a specific task or series of tasks in order to progress the story, beat a major villain, or learn a new spell
  • i love the story to this game, but i wish hogwarts was more fun to explore and i wish you were able to play quidditch which is a staple to harry potter and fighting for house points would have made this game just like the
  • The stories follow the movies the best they can, but sometimes the video clips are long and seem to do too much of the movie instead of playing it.

Reviews around lego game (4.73 of 5)

  • I play the Lego games with my 5 year old son and he loves them all.
  • Plus the graphics are outstanding; the details, right down to the itty, bitty splashes the water droplets make as they fall to the campus grounds outside Hagrid's hut, are completely amazing and immerse you in Harry's fantastical world
  • Bought this game for my sisters, who love playing the LEGO games
  • We all love this game and enjoy other LEGO games as well.
  • This is another great Lego game in the series of Lego games already available

Reviews around daughter (4.56 of 5)

  • Both my daughter and I could play the game and discuss how to solve the puzzle or make it through a certain point and we weren't being punished by a timer nor were we being hounded by a non-stop flow of enemies
  • My daughter loves the Lego games for her little ones and everyone can jump in and help.
  • Plus the graphics are outstanding; the details, right down to the itty, bitty splashes the water droplets make as they fall to the campus grounds outside Hagrid's hut, are completely amazing and immerse you in Harry's fantastical world
  • My daughter and I tried to defeat the first boss (troll in the bathroom) for a half an hour
  • My daughter loved it and played and finished the entire game in a week.

Reviews around play (4.56 of 5)

  • Plus the graphics are outstanding; the details, right down to the itty, bitty splashes the water droplets make as they fall to the campus grounds outside Hagrid's hut, are completely amazing and immerse you in Harry's fantastical world
  • My biggest gripe is what Lego Indiana Jones and this game suffer from and that is that the game is gear towards kids but the menu system to get things like Free Play working is not as obvious.
  • The older games were the best for kids since the levels were broken down into different doors and when you started a level you could do story mode or free play.
  • I love how there's concrete things to do with some free play available as well.
  • Plus, I dont know how many times I had to restart my system because the game kept freezing when I was in free play mode

Reviews around challenge (4.45 of 5)

  • fun for the whole family, a little challenging to play with some of the game controls and odd puzzles but a great value
  • The puzzles are fun and challenging for 7 year olds, and I imagine this would be true for players up to about 11, and the in-jokes are entertaining for the rest of us
  • There are enough options and challenges to keep the game interesting, but it is not as good as XBox 260 Marvels Universe which I consider the gold standard for both Lego and Xbox
  • Plus the graphics are outstanding; the details, right down to the itty, bitty splashes the water droplets make as they fall to the campus grounds outside Hagrid's hut, are completely amazing and immerse you in Harry's fantastical world
  • There are a ton of levels as well as side challenges that are fun to explore

  • Son tried it on his game system and it didn't work there either so not impressed.
  • my son loves the lego series, and he is a huge fan of this game.
  • My oldest son (13 yrs) loved the fact that the story line is true to the original books.
  • Fun game my 7yo son beat it within a week so it could be a little more challenging.
  • Son loves it, plays it all weekend long, great game play

Reviews around lego (4.21 of 5)

  • I like games that requires some thinking.. and I love Lego
  • Who wouldn't love Harry Potter Lego if they enjoyed the movies at all?
  • This is another great Lego game in the series of Lego games already available
  • I love how the game follows the books/movies but it also has a fresh Lego twist, I think it would get pretty stale rather quickly if it didn't
  • Lego HP is a little more difficult than Lego Indiana Jones but we still had of fun with it last week

Reviews around screen (1.78 of 5)

  • Split screen works great.
  • Love the game, the only thing I don't like is the split screen
  • Similar to Lego Indiana Jones 2, the camera will separate into a split screen style when one player moves too far from the other.
  • The game accommodates for varying interests by allowing the users to split the screen whenever you leave the same area, but in some missions it makes perfect sense to have someone help you levitate up to new heights, tag team one of the level's major bosses, or just cover more ground more quickly
  • Love the game, the only thing I don't like is the split screen

Reviews around frustrate (1.00 of 5)

  • One of the things that I found very entertaining although frustrating at times is how easily I could just lose myself in the game and spend oodles of time playing
  • Plus the graphics are outstanding; the details, right down to the itty, bitty splashes the water droplets make as they fall to the campus grounds outside Hagrid's hut, are completely amazing and immerse you in Harry's fantastical world
  • Annoying collectibles that are, at times frustrating, to get
  • It does get a little frustrating that when there is two players, sometimes your wand doesn't work as well becuase of the split
