This is my favorite Lego game, came on time and as expected!
I had some quality issues with the other Lego games (like Batman "falling" into the side of a building and crashing my game)but overall felt I more than got my money's worth in terms of play value
In the game it gives you different quests(missons) to complete during each level which is different from the other lego games like Lego Star Wars, Lego Batman, and Lego Indiana Jones
Once again lego has outdone themselves with this excellent video game based on the first 4 books of the Harry Potter series
My son Loves Lego and Harry Potter so its a win as far as I'm concerned
Unlike other games I've played for the DS recently, the touchscreen controls are not obnoxious
Tips:- Don't try to go back before you beat the game, because a lot of key spells you need to do get items in the free play are learned in the last book
However, if you are looking for quality, I don't recommend this particular DS game to be played on a 3DS or newer mobile console
You can actually go back at any time (in Free Play) but it makes sense to go back once you have all the spells so that you aren't duplicating everything again and again
I suspect it I will take me 6 hours to find everything in the game through the free play because after you beat it you have everyone you need to lock everything in another run through of the game.
We have a Wii but my main platform choice is DS.I have to say this Lego game is pretty good now that I have played it for a few days.
I love the lego games, and I expected that this game would be like the starwars games and be just the same version of the game but just for a different console instead of a completely different game.
It is not as difficult and challenging as the Indiana Jones Lego games and lacks the charisma of the Star Wars one
I very much enjoy the Lego games and have played through this same game on PS3/4.
She likes the lego games but Harry Potter is her favorite
