Free play has changed and is now tucked away in the Creator hub.
Highly recommended for hours and hours of terrific game play!
Also, once he finished these games he didn't go back to FREE play levels; instead he was proud he conquered the game then wanted to put in LEGO games he's had for years prior.
The summaryOne of the best parts of the earlier games, and what made them enjoyable time and time again was replaying levels in free play mode and using the various characters to search for newly accessible areas, find the minikits and other secret goodies and so on
Another thing that bugged me was that there was no "free play" like you would suspect
My son loves any lego video game, and this is the best way to get him into the movies and characters we love :)
The Star Wars, Batman, and previous Indiana Jones games were all faithful-yet-exaggerated recreations of some beloved characters with a somewhat cohesive story.
So if you don't have the right characters when you go in, you have to go back out
The levels are then located within these hubs, as are the bonuses (bricks), characters, and vehicles you can unlock for purchase
Great game absolutely love the gameplay, humor, and environment
If I described any of the cutscenes to you, you'd swear that I wasn't reviewing an Indiana Jones game."LEGO Indiana Jones 2" is going to be loved by those who enjoyed the gameplay and puzzles more than the nostalgia.
I found the gameplay to be more smooth and sharp and in the vein of Lego Batman, and a vast improvement over the 1st Indiana Jones Game, where characters seemed to move rather slow and clunky a lot of the time

They have really spread things out in this episode, but it all works out for a really good time.
We have a hard time finding PS3 games he can play, but this one was pretty easy..
It's a great way to enjoy family time together as kids and adults alike work to solve puzzles, collect artifacts and defeat the enemy
My son loves the lego series and the games allow for kids to just keep playing (no out of lives)
The differences from the other Indiana Jones game are good, we can drive more vehicles, (my son loves the tree cutter) the puzzles are more challenging, we actually have to target the items to shoot or whip, the solutions are not as obvious as before, the split screen is great, (no more dragging the other player) the boss fights are fun and my son has already spent hours building his own level

Indy style! The co-op was improved as well, and now you and your partner can work on different parts of the stage without distance limitations, and that increases the fun in co-op play a lot
If you have played other games in the LEGO movie franchise and enjoyed them, you will enjoy this one as well.
My 5 year old LOVES this game and my 33 year old husband as well!
My six-year-old nephew grew frustrated as well, and dropped out of the game during the vehicle-chase scenes

On the down side, unlike past LEGO games they went with a hub world concept, this needlessly burns up a lot of time going from place to place in my opinion
