You could stretch each story out into much more time if you wanted to explore every little nook and cranny, or in this case break up all the different Lego pieces along the way (and find all the gold bricks). The free play is really cool
Once you finish the levels its fun to go back and do free play and unlock characters
However, I do really enjoy this game and have to commend it for offering the option of drop-in/out cooperative play at any time, which is HUGE
Each character has their own special abilities which are used to solve puzzles in the levels and in free play
My husband got through all the levels in the month that we have had it, but is still really enjoying free play.
Visually, Lego Marvel is consistently beautiful, with some areas looking photorealistic, which sounds like a weird fit for a cartoony Lego game, but works surprisingly well
I love the game as I do all the Lego games but there was not a book that came with it
I bought Lego Marvel: Nintendo Wii U game for my nephew, he had asked for it for xmas
Lego Marvel also gets huge points for being a fun game that is essentially non-violent (you're just smashing up building blocks), making a great choice for those with kids

Overall, the characters are fun and since there are so many of them, the game feels fresh on each new level because you get to explore the new characters.
I constantly heard "Hey Mommy, wanna play?" to which my response usually was "Only if you promise not to keep killing my character!!!"
They love all the ships and the characters that they can develop/create
Now, some people thought that the Frank character in LCU was a bit annoying -- just wait until you experience the Deadpool character.
Love the LEGO games bu this brings another level of fun with real voice-over acting and also a full gamut of Marvel characters to unlock and play with
Loved the ability for one player to play on the TV and one to use the game pad instead of having to split screen, such a great use of the game pad
that being said the best part of playing on the Wii U is I can tap an icon on the game pad and have my person run around on the game pad while player 2 gets the full view of the TV or I can tap it again and poof I am back on the TV with the split screen with player 2
The ability to not have the split screen is the only way to play these games, and only the wii u offers that
I hated LEGO Batman 2 because that dynamic split screen slowed everything down, and made me dizzy
As annoying as the previous glitches are, they can be recovered from, and therefore may be overlooked by a patient player
Unfortunately the many glitches and freezing makes it frustrating
and I feel it is appalling that they do so knowing how bad the glitches are.
