The Hardware is great, installation was a bit tricky considering I had to connect more cables than with my regular "dumb" dimmer

In the morning, I simply say "Alexa, lights five percent", and she raises them to a nice dim wake up level.

I will probably look into the Decora Smart dimmer switches for my living room and bedroom as well

I have now purchased 7 switches and one is bad [ dimmer doesn't work properly and will not connect to the internet ] after calling tech support and being told it was wired improperly

Remember to disconnect power at the circuit breaker box or the dimmer will light you up too!I highly recommend this product.

My 3 star rating was mainly to draw attention to amazon up-selling me $120 expert installation (for 3 switches), which I assumed are professionals who would know all the gotchas for the particular smart dimmer that I just purchased

This is a very well-priced smart dimmer switch, with a reliable setup process, decent software, and smooth firmware update process.

Admittedly, this use case is not what the smart dimmer was designed for, but that being said, the hardware should be 100% capable of accomplishing this task

I am quite pleased with this smart dimmer and will be purchasing more.

It appears that this particular dimmer has a defect but there is a work around.

Pretty much just as easy to instal as a plain dimmer is.

Great if you want to pay double for a “dumb” dimmer switch.

Subsequent future switch installs will be quicker with my learning, and I will no doubt being adding more of these smart dimmer switches soon.

I purchased this smart dimmer from Amazon Warehouse Deals to save a few bucks

so I decided to look for a smart dimmer.

From the tripping breakers to clunky install to faceplate falling off to its poor minimum dim threahold, this was far from acceptable

I recently installed a Leviton WiFi dimmer in my kitchen, part number DW6HD-1BZ, and love it.

Works wonderful and it fits a niche that is hard to fill (smart dimmer plugs are hard to find!).

The dimming is nice, but if you change it to whatever magic number the app decides it doesnt like, then expect your lamp to shut down - unplugging it will fix it

In reality, its just a smart switch, not a smart dimmer
