We were installing three dimmers, the installation hit a glitch with the first one, after powered up it was not showing up in the list of wi-fi networks for me to configure it, while I was debugging what could be the causes since I was seeing the device was in pairing mode, the Tech went about installing the second one (in the same box) which refused to get into pairing mode

Install went fine and My Leviton App nominally works on my Samsung Tablet SM T813.

It takes some electrical knowledge to install so if you don’t feel comfortable installing them, call an electrican.

Overall, I am thrilled with it now that it's installed

From the tripping breakers to clunky install to faceplate falling off to its poor minimum dim threahold, this was far from acceptable

Tricky install with a 3-pole, requiring Leviton DW15S for "hot" line connection and Leviton Remote switch for secondary "load" connection

off.so this switch was an easy install but the dimming function doesn't work, neither on the app of on the switch, when it turns on 10 percent, the led's are fully on, and when it turns on at 100 percent they are fully on, basically it's a good switch just not dimmable at all

Once installed, operation, programming and remote control with Leviton App are excellent and have exceeded my expectations.

i did pre-loaded the app and linked it to the Alexa app before they got here so that saved me time and worked perfectly it was a bit tricky to get the right model number devices the first 4 i

A great (possibly overlooked) feature in the app is the ability to tell the dimmer what type of bulb(s) it is controlling (incandescent, CFL or LED) providing a more linear relationship between slider position in the app and brightness

n’t need dimming, but if you do want dimming capabilities this does a great job

So you cannot turn the switch on or off from the app as well as not being able to do it with Alexa.

I love how it softly brightens as it comes on and softly dims as it goes off

I have "dumb" Leviton dimmers all throughout my home; I now have two of the Decora Smart switches in my house because they work exactly as they should.

and it's so much better being able to control the lights remotely, as well as with Alexa

(4 total switches) install was simple, we all rejoiced as we turned on and off the lights and fans in our rooms with our voice

Then you can just say "Hey Google, dim pendant to 50 percent" as you head to the dining room and the lighting will almost be done dimming as you enter the room.

I've had a few bad experiences with the setup process of other brands, or even getting Alexa/Google to find a smart switch after setting up, but so far this switch is proving to work as it is supposed to be - if that changes I will provide an update.

The dimming function works just as well as with regular dimmer switches, and I love having the option of controlling them through the app and through Alexa (Amazon Echo device).Be advised that, as it says in the product description, a neutral wire is required for installation

Regardless, it's now working and hasn't failed as of yet.

It’s baffling as to why this decision was

Everything is currently working as it should, On, Off, and Dimming

However the Wi-Fi setup does not work as it should.

I have the ability to control them individually or as a group through the leviton app as well as through alexa.
