Reviews around price (5.00 of 5)

  • I was looking for a larger monitor for everyday use, and chose this one for the good price
  • Overall I give this monitor a 9/10, as the price was also great for the product.
  • Great price and great options built into monitor for multitasking
  • outside of the outstanding price I purchased this for I would have to say that this monitor is VERY VERY good
  • Overall it is a nice monitor that ticks all the boxes I wanted save for 4K which is fine by me since 4K HDR monitors aren't at a good price range with high Frame

Reviews around gaming (4.78 of 5)

  • 27 Inch Full HD Ultragear G-Sync Compatible Gaming Monitor with 144Hz Refresh Rate
  • The g-sync compatibility works perfect with my 2070 super.
  • The g-sync compatibility works perfect with my 2070 super.
  • I am confused how this monitor has that many great reviews, noticed half of it are VINE reviews, I mean if I got this monitor for free I would be ok with a mediocre gaming experience

Reviews around sync (4.65 of 5)

  • Nvidia's Gsync is not just adaptive sync but a number of criteria that a monitor manufacturer has to meet in order to meet the standard
  • Aside from the refresh rate the colors are vibrant, deep blacks, no blurring, low input lag and even G-Sync compatible
  • This monitor has some nice features like HDR and G-SYNC (via Adaptive Sync) although you can't use them together
  • it's NOT a G-Sync monitor but rather just G-Sync compatible
  • G-sync is not an issue.. bright vivid coolors and veeery smooth

Reviews around display (4.60 of 5)

  • Scan lines all out of wack and all over the place, the OSD displaying in pieces around the screen... as ugly a monitor fail as I've ever seen
  • Replaced a very fast response TN panel display but the TN panel colors were not as good as with an IPS panel (and I do photography work too)
  • I would Also say that this IPS display at 144hz is a way better display than the 240hz tn panels is every
  • YES to all of it - the LG 27GL650F-B is just a very sleek excellent display
  • The test also tested for motion blur, which this display handled very well

Reviews around picture (4.59 of 5)

  • Perfect monitor, Very sharp and beautiful picture, no blb no dead pixel Almost without Glow, perfect response time and input lag .
  • Beautiful picture and good brightness and contrast highly recommended.
  • It isn't a deal breaker, but if you want a perfect picture you'll need to spend another $150-$250 and get a QHD resolution screen
  • Clear picture no problems playing most triple a games
  • The monitor worked well for five weeks before the picture became distorted

Reviews around color (4.54 of 5)

  • For a 1080p picture on a 27 inch monitor it looked fairly sharp, and the colors were vivid.
  • but the colors are horrible
  • Very valanced monitor so worth, nice frecuency, nice colors
  • The colors are great, compared to my tn monitor that is my secondary now
  • It's also super bright and it being ips, has great colors

Reviews around stand (4.49 of 5)

  • I love the stand, very solid and adjustable to any suitable height
  • The stand isn't that great to be honest as it is not sturdy at all
  • The stand is also pretty nice, it's heavy, it doesn't move, and unlike a lot of monitor stands it actually goes high enough to have good posture
  • I did however find that the stand was a bit shaky, however, lowering the height fixes that problem
  • The included stand is nice, it screws right on to the VESA mount and is height adjustable

Reviews around refresh rate (4.42 of 5)

  • The only negative really is the blacks on IPS will never match those on a VA screen - but they are much better than TN.The variable refresh rate seems to work perfectly under gsync (I own a GTX 1060), and as this is really a freesync monitor I would think the same would be true for all radeon cards.
  • He recommended an optical cable with high refresh rates as well to maximize the potential of the monitor.
  • At first the higher refresh rate felt amazing on the Xbox super fast response very high refresh
  • The color accuracy is great, refresh rate is good, and the gsync compatibility is wonderful
  • The refresh rate is awesome and the display is incredibly clear!

Reviews around size (4.16 of 5)

  • I would recommend looking elsewhere for a monitor this size
  • This monitor has almost all of it, with true HD, 144hz refresh rate and a large, but not too-large size
  • I do like the size and other qualities of the monitor, but I play a lot of multiplayer FPS
  • The size of this monitor at a 1080p resolution should be no problem for the average person and casual gamer
  • The size is nice and it replaced 2 other other monitors

Reviews around look (4.07 of 5)

  • In terms of appearance, this is a very sleek-looking monitor with a nice narrow bezel at the top and sides
  • My ps4 as well looks very blurry while watching something like netflix on it but in game it looks great.
  • Amazing has great image quality response time and its really good looking the only
  • I highly recommend the 27GL650F if you're looking for a high refresh 1080p gaming monitor.
  • i had been looking for a monitor for about 3 weeks straight and just didnt like the specs / look of most of the monitors i saw especially for the price until i saw this one only downside is it DOES NOT HAVE A SPEAKER you have to buy your own

Reviews around quality (4.01 of 5)

  • While the monitor has dead pixels, I think the monitor has wonderful picture quality.
  • LG has always had good quality control, but sometimes this is just the luck of the draw
  • Amazing has great image quality response time and its really good looking the only
  • They are cheaply made and the panels themselves are very cheap quality
  • I like the picture quality, the monitor is IPS after all

Reviews around response (3.71 of 5)

  • Response is great at medium "fast" setting (normal/fast/faster), unlike ghosted images in cheaper, but still 144Hz monitors.
  • First thing to note is that some of the nomenclature in the advertising might lead someone to believe that this monitor has a fast response time natively but it does not
  • My biggest gripe with this monitor is the relatively slow response time of 5ms, which is ok but not great and is fairly standard for IPS displays
  • Perfect monitor, Very sharp and beautiful picture, no blb no dead pixel Almost without Glow, perfect response time and input lag .
  • There always seem to be some give and take with monitors, and in this case the slower response time is probably my biggest complaint

Reviews around star (2.28 of 5)

  • I know this can happen to anyone anytime with any brand, but I will knock another star off.
  • Other reason I knocked a star is that I can't find the LG OnScreen Control software now on the LG site, although it was available 2 weeks ago on the LG site and I downloaded and used it on the ancient laptop referred to above
  • 5 star monitor and easy put-together, but 3 stars for settings/menu/hdmi setup problems
  • Excellent 1080p monitor, i knocked one star as the monitor lacks remote control unit and has an annoying power off/power saving function that is triggered whenever inputs are changed, and turns off the screen totally (must use power button to turn screen on when pc is turned on or resuming from power saving)
  • Replaced a very fast response TN panel display but the TN panel colors were not as good as with an IPS panel (and I do photography work too)

Reviews around screen (1.94 of 5)

  • There was HORRIBLE screen tearing after just a few weeks of using this product
  • The only downside this monitor has is the fact that if you use this monitor to game on a PS4 (1st gen), you'll have some pretty bad screen tearing
  • So I was upgrading my gaming desktop with a new GPU (RTX Geforce 2070 Super) and even though I already had a very nice LG Widescreen monitor, it was only 60hz and I experienced significant screen tearing on games, etc
  • The first thing that I noticed was the sleek and almost borderless screen
  • Love the size and extra screen to see while playing FPS games

Reviews around line (1.54 of 5)

  • Started using this in June and by March the bottom 3rd of the screen started flickering horizontal black lines every few seconds.
  • As title states, had both vertical and horizontal dead lines of pixels within the first month of use
  • Scan lines all out of wack and all over the place, the OSD displaying in pieces around the screen... as ugly a monitor fail as I've ever seen
  • when using the dissplay port it works fine.... if you look at the pic you can see the line
  • My monitor failed with dead pixels and vertical and horizontal lines

Reviews around tear (1.24 of 5)

  • All the people saying this has horrible screen tearing apparently haven’t actually adjusted the monitor
  • Don’t bother trying to use it for console gaming absolutely horrible screen tearing.
  • Avoid this monitor, I thought I got a steal on prime day but this monitor has horrible screen tearing.
  • There is HORRIBLE screen tearing on my ps4 so much so you can actually see the horizontal line traveling up the screen

Reviews around pixel (1.21 of 5)

  • I feel like all it does is over brighten the pixels and actually make the icons look less sharp and more pixelated and a bit fizzy
  • My monitor came with no dead pixels at all, and very little vignetting
  • While the monitor has dead pixels, I think the monitor has wonderful picture quality.
  • My monitor failed with dead pixels and vertical and horizontal lines
  • Less than 2 months and the screen has developeda row of dead pixels and column of hot pixels

Reviews around motion blur (1.00 of 5)

  • I picked the lg 27gl650f-b up for $200 bucks on black friday, i think it was a good investment since the monitor is 144hz and comes with free-sync and g-sync and its 1ms motion blur reduction which isn't very use full when you're using free-sync because you cant use them both at the same time but its also is 5ms gray to gray which they don't really include in the description nor specs on amazon but over all this monitor is still very
  • The response time is 5ms, the monitor uses as best as I can tell LG's version of MPRT tech to reduce motion blur, but it's not the same as owning a 1ms response time monitor
  • The test also tested for motion blur, which this display handled very well
  • Another thing I didn't like which may not affect everyone is the 1ms motion blur reduction - it made any game I played look much more blurry and basically unplayable
