Reviews around size (5.00 of 5)

  • Power connector wouldn't stay seated in the rear of the monitor, like plug and socket were not at all the right size for each other
  • I am enjoying this screen, it is perfect size, very good quality of screen and it works smoothly with my MacBook Pro tech bar.

  • Or perhaps a USB printer or any other device that is located closer to the monitor than the PC case.- Good size for a PC monitor.
  • quality is excellent, size is excellent - I just wish the back of it wasn't white...

Reviews around resolution (4.67 of 5)

  • The different resolutions kinda makes it interesting/annoying to drag windows between screens
  • beautiful resolution and color... but do not try to use the monitor sound output to drive speakers - very poor - sound frequently pops and drops out
  • The resolution and responsive time is great at least on paper;3
  • Great monitor, high resolution is very nice and easy on eyes
  • LG has not created MacOS drivers for this monitor so the maximum resolution available is 1080p

Reviews around design (4.59 of 5)

  • The colors are great, everything is crisp, even the design of the panel and base look great on my desk
  • And I also don't like the design of the joystick for adjusting settings.
  • The stand is ergonomic, and the overall design is both efficient and appealing enough
  • The stand is ergonomic, and the overall design is both efficient and appealing enough
  • The monitor is also light enough that it's easy to move if needed.-Stand Design: I really like the design of the stand as it is thin enough to give you extra space for whatever you need on your desk

Reviews around picture (4.32 of 5)

  • Other than that, awesome picture quality as others have mentioned already
  • (if that's your thing - although they're not good)Display looks pretty good on Mac OS (not so much on Windows)Cons:Horrific picture presets - difficult to get monitor picture to look good, but can be done
  • Excellent fit with new mac mini - amazing picture quality
  • Really good picture quality and great anti-glare properties with the matte finish.
  • Picture is great, and there are no noticeable issues with quality

Reviews around color (4.06 of 5)

  • Very good color, resolutions, HDR, and ports, especially USB-C.
  • After calibrating, colors look accurate, text is sharp, and the USB-C connection is very convenient
  • I recommend this monitor especially if you have a MacBookPro very nice and colors is very strong
  • The monitor is essentially useless for graphic design now due to terrible color, brightness, and an almost total lack of calibration
  • After 1.5 years of daily use, it developed 'red edges' and all the colors are messed up

Reviews around quality (4.05 of 5)

  • Great quality, USB ports on the back are super handy, and rotation option is excellent.
  • Support is perfect, supplied cables are of excellent quality
  • It’s not fair to the consumers, or the stores, as it’s not even their fault LG is shipping units with abysmal quality control
  • The product seems really good, but it has the cheapest quality for the ports in the back
  • I apologize for the poor quality picture, but my device I'd ordinarily use for taking pictures is currently unavailable

Reviews around feature (4.03 of 5)

  • If only this feature were better, the display would be perfect!
  • Driver installs incompatibility and missing features.
  • so it’s a pretty useless feature at this point
  • Another great feature is that the monitor automatically adjust the white balance when true-tone display is enabled on the laptop.
  • My favorite feature is the ability to use this monitor in both single, or split-screen modes

Reviews around usb (3.78 of 5)

  • This was planned, which is why I specifically bought a monitor that supported USB-C:
  • Not sure why modern monitors have all these inputs, but can't perform picture-in-picture.- USB-C connection downgrades the USB hub to USB 2.0 speeds
  • And the USB-C connection is very nice since I use a 2018 MacBook Pro with USB-C connectors
  • so I unplugged the USB-C cable to try another one, and it ripped the USB-C port / housing from the monitor
  • One complaint, the monitor's USB ports on the back only work when you connect a pc via USB C to it

Reviews around product (3.58 of 5)

  • So while the product itself is fine the lack of any customer service and support is disqualifying in my opinion.
  • I didn't think I'd be the one writing one of *those* reviews where the customer gets a faulty product while so many are satisfied, but it does happen
  • So while the product itself is fine the lack of any customer service and support is disqualifying in my opinion.
  • I was a bit on the fence about whether I should buy this monitor or a cheaper non USB-C monitor
  • Quick delivery , carefully packaged and a wonderful product

  • Non-glare display, very nearly as good as my retina macbook's.
  • Not as good as my iMac but a good, functional dual display

Reviews around backlight (3.04 of 5)

  • USB-C, that came in the box, works great and charges my Mac
  • I’ve been through 3 of these monitors, and they’ve all had separate issues.#1 - Unacceptable backlight bleed
  • Beautiful 4K display, slim bezels, decent UI, very configurableCONS:
  • This was planned, which is why I specifically bought a monitor that supported USB-C:
  • HDMI will (If your monitor is working with Catalina at all) access to the proper available video resolutions (and use 60K) and it looks beautiful.

Reviews around issue (1.85 of 5)

  • LG needs to do something to remedy this issue.
  • The other annoying issues aren't helping either though.
  • If the replacement is free of those unacceptable issues, I will update the review
  • After some research, it looks like it’s an issue with Catalina

Reviews around bleed (1.63 of 5)

  • Also dead pixels.#3 - Great color uniformity, but guess what.. back to excessive backlight bleed
  • The backlight bleed was worse than any other monitor I have owned.
  • This monitor has significant light bleed on the 4 corners; this is my 3rd IPS monitor, and it has the worst light bleed out of all 3 (not by a long shot, but it is the worst)
  • Haven’t noticed the backlight bleeding others have complained about and love that the screen can move up and down and tilt vertically
  • Out of the box, no dead pixels, no abnormal light bleed, and no issues with color uniformity or backlight consistency

Reviews around pixel (1.33 of 5)

  • Now I have dead pixels in the top left and right corners.
  • I can only see it on very dark backgrounds as it appears to only be one bright green pixel
  • I sent the monitor back since it had dead pixels on the
  • BUT after a couple days my unit has dead pixels and I’m exchanging it

Reviews around drive (1.00 of 5)

  • This means you cannot safely use it for hard drives, flash drives, &
  • Another issue, the USB ports on the back will completely ruin your hard drives if you use them for that
  • This charges the laptop, drives the display, connects the keyboard, and mounts by external backup hard drive
  • Whenever I attach an external hard drive to the USB port, every time my MacBook turns on the monitor, it will reset the USB ports and not eject the hard drive cleanly.
  • The ports are only useful for things that aren't hard drives, which is a shame because a big plus to having the USB-C connection was to hopefully get rid of the dongle I have to use for the MacBook Pro since it doesn't have any other ports
