I was blown away by the picture of a less expensive 2018 4K HDR LG 27UK600-W that was sitting next to several other non-HDR monitors (displaying non-HDR content) in a local BB store.

The issue here I think is that the os gets confused as to what's connected to the computer so the usbc port is displaying somewhere in a parallel monitor universe and something within the config needs to be reset

If you have speakers that you would rather use for your monitor, this would be great for you especially at a cheaper price

My current diagnosis:Annoying that it keeps warning to use only the supplied cables, which can not support HDR and 10bit or just 10bit without an occasional blink (3-4 times a day)

The hdr 10 is fake without it red is orange it isn’t true 4K in hdr mode all around a lie of a product the only thing it has is response time it

The fact that this monitor only supports srgb means that any hdr won't look good

Very disappointed because I enjoyed the picture quality, but ultimately the monitor that doesn’t fall down is more valuable to me than the one that has better image quality but a flimsy stand.

Adjustable stand is fantastic - now that I have it, I would not buy a monitor without it

The stand was easily adjustable to get the perfect height

It fell off the desk and broke the screen two days after I got it because the stand is so unstable.

The bezel is nearly non existent and the stand is incredibly adjustable

Even with a truly "black" image fullscreen or loading screens its just a dark grey with some visible back light bleeding in some areas, but the backlight bleeding near the edges aside that seems to be pretty varied item to item, the darkness of the screen itself is just terrible for many things

Per LG CS, LG does not recommend using cables that converts one format to another

if you just need a 4k ips panel and you're on a tight budget, this is great for value, it does have some negatives but for the price if say it's worth buying

Some older monitors do not support HDCP 2.2 but this one does so all 4k content is compatible with the monitor

I bought this monitor after using a Benq rl2755 for the longest time and haven’t noticed any more input lag than before

When the trading day is done I can watch Netflix full screen flicker free 4K 60 hz or use it for photo editing with an image as sharp as my MBPr display .Brightness, split screens and on-screen adjustments, in every way superior to the Samsung U28E590D monitor that I bought last week and have already returned.

This unit came broken, with half screen dark.

Cons:- Owned the unit for less than 24 hours and it developed a small group of dead pixels in the center of screen.

If your defective unit is doomed to break, at least do it before the return window closes.

Whats worse, I have to go through the repair service twice!Long story short, my unit was having an issue where the monitor will not lit after quick/abrupt shutdowns

There are no dead pixels or color/light bleed around the edges

The monitor was delivered in perfect condition - the box had no dents and the monitor has no dead pixels

There were no dead pixels, and the picture was nice and sharp.

The monitor developed a thin line of dead pixels on the bottom portion of the screen

NO dead pixels and light bleed is so little that I don't notice it at all
