• Reviews around hdr (3.69 of 5)

LG 27UL500-W 27-Inch UHD (3840 x 2160) IPS Monitor with Radeon Freesync Technology and HDR10, White

    • Some people say the hdr is not good
    • Very great color reproduction, solid HDR rendering, and crisp picture.
    • Some games don't have great HDR though, so it's sometimes best to turn HDR off in Xbox Settings and go with Custom settings on monitor
    • quality-4K-HDR compatible-Supports FreeSync over HDMICONS
    • Also, I can confirm that the PS4 Pro was able to recognize the monitor as HDR capable
    • I saw this was a good affordable HDR 10 monitor
    • The fact that this monitor only supports srgb means that any hdr won't look good
    • x coming from a pretty solid mom HDR 4K Samsung monitor
    • As well as the HDR which I can’t really tell the difference but don’t let that be the deciding factor, this monitor will blow your expectations out of the water
    • The HDR on this screen is far brighter than a middle range LG TV I have that has "HDR" as well
    • If a game does not support HDR but you
    • If you care about your monitor lasting for a long time, avoid using HDR Vivid (and HDR Effect mode) because they heavily rely on post-processing to create the amazing colors, contrast, brightness, but they are bad for your monitor's life-expectancy
    • quality-4K-HDR compatible-Supports FreeSync over HDMI- HDR looks
    • I put off buying this for several months because of everyone making comments like "fake HDR" - it kind of got me down a bit.
    • My favorite feature of the monitor is the HDR effect even if something is not hdr you can still get sharp and crisp HDR like colors
    • it was the best setting HDR is awesome if you put it on HDR
    • The HDR is so worth it for gaming
    • ( UK650 model have dp1.2 and does not have sertification) also this new version have better factory calibration.2)HDR performance is not bad but still its just 400
    • a lot of people say it's fake hdr but for me it looks better than my mid end Samsung and LG hdr tvs...
    • The hdr 10 is fake without it red is orange it isn’t true 4K in hdr mode all around a lie of a product the only thing it has is response time it
    • I know that the claim is that DisplayHDR 400 is not a good quality HDR.
    • I see this monitor as "HDR 10" compatible, and windows 10 detects this as an HDR monitor, but please note, it only has a peak brightness on about 350 nits, making it more HDRish
    • I wanted a monitor that looked as good as my samsung 4k hdr QLED TV
    • ( i even disabled HDR on my ps4pro).3)Monitor have very good Brightness and its enough for prety much any room
    • but if you don't care about accuracy and how you are losing life expenctancy of your monitor due to post processing, HDR Vivid can be spectacular with fantastic colors
    • Nice form factor, bright, fast, and good hdr with 4k
    • My current diagnosis:Annoying that it keeps warning to use only the supplied cables, which can not support HDR and 10bit or just 10bit without an occasional blink (3-4 times a day)
    • The HDR is great for the extra brightness, however there is no such thing as a fully black color with HDR
    • I am a casual Battlefield 1 (FPS) gamer, and my K/D ratio as well as the overall number of K's has improved with this monitor.
    • Have tried several well known branded cables, same result, and while my GPU isn't the latest, the EVGA GTX 1070 FTW does have three true DP 1.4 ports, as well as one HDMI 2.0(b) and some version of DVI-D which I've not used
