I'm not sure if Amazon is shipping them in the retail packaging, but mine arrived in a nicely sized overbox with a generous amount of quality bubble pack all around
The size is perfect.
Very nice and just the right size
Love the size of the tv, perfect for our living room.
But I was disappointed that Alexa wasn’t available.
Our Amazon Alexa works just fine, and we did not have to put our Freedom at risk to use it, so why does LG want us to agree to a 10,000 word contract that would take a lawyer to decipher? With LG's new relationship with Google, seems to me LG and this in-home TV has just become another Google functionary, much like the NBA and the
After more than 2 hours with LG trying to reinstall Alexa, still cannot get Alexa to work again
That said, it doesn't seem like the TV works all that well with Google Assistant nor Alexa
It connects fine to my Wi-Fi, has a great picture, good sound and the operating system is easy to navigate after a little bit of getting used to where things are
Great picture and the sound is loud even with it up on the wall
However, while watching a recorded DVR show, the sound became distorted.
,, this LG has great picture, easy to set up, nice voice remote and a great sound to it
The picture is great and the sound is so good I don't need a sound bar
This television is fantastic and it's very reasonably priced, and I recommend that any of you that's looking to buy an excellent tv at an unbelievable price, THIS TV IS IT!😎👍🏽🤩!
Also, the tv itself starts to glitch where the smart features won't work occasionally until I unplug it and reply it
But if you're wanting a TV with a great picture, sensible port options, WebOS, a mediocre remote, and if AirPlay isn't an urgent feature for you, this TV would be a recommended buy.
A MUST DISABLE feature
Awesome picture quality and features, the computer is just a bit slower than the nice samsung smart tv
The picture quality is great and the user interface for the smart features is very user friendly and fun (it has optional motion controls like a Wii or voice commands if you want them
At the store, the picture looks much better than the similarly priced Samsung RU7100, plus, this one weighs 31.3 lbs vs 39 lbs for the RU7100.It's also got a Magic Remote at an entry level TV, and I like that it supports Alexa, Google Assistant, and soon, HomeKit
This 2019 model includes the LG Magic Remote, no longer an extra cost.
The magic remote is so responsive and can be used almost like a Wii
The "Magic" remote is over complicated, has a weird "pointer movement" operation, and has POOR flat rubbery "buttons" for some features.
I miss the remote, but the picture quality is night and day difference.
Great clear, vibrant color, and fantastic audio output
I don't mind too much because it only shows up on very dark colors and disappears after the tv has been on long enough.
In fact, the colors are so vivid and the clarity is so fine-tuned that I can see EVERYTHING just as well as I can when I'm watching my LG 65" 4K OLED UHD
Blacks were washed out and faded, colors were inaccurate and could not display any in between colors well (noticeable lack of ability to display purples in particular), and contrast was not strong enough at medium-high brightness/low-mid gamma
If this review gets some traction, I'll add more detail
I read the negative reviews and realized they were mostly about shipping damage
You may say it isn't fair to give this new TV a bad review because of our old TV but most people don't update when their TV breaks so all these five-star reviews are also misleading
but this tv is awesome, seems like some reviews expect a Lamborghini fir 429.00 bucks
That spared us the experience of having a TV shipped through Amazon, which appears to be the root of all the negative reviews
All my other units are Roku smart tv’s, and their remotes are much easier to use
Up date on this still fighting with lg customer service they have sent me screws for a refrigerator when i have a tv then after talking to them 5 more times they sent me the wrong screws again this time for the stand so as of 9/6/2019 still missing screws for the tv hoping to hear back from lg soon
When me and the wife was taking the tv out of the box screws fell out of the box then upon investigation it was the screws from the back of the tv one was still in the tv not

Within our three weeks of having this TV, this issue occurred several times for me sporadically, but my wife said it happened daily.
I know that Amazon Alexa was a recent update/release to LG, so maybe the next time the Amazon Alexa app updates it will fix this issue
The FIRST time I received this order, the box had clearly already been opened and was missing one leg of the stand as well as the remote
Each time the issue resolved itself after restarting the TV.
If you are by yourself and a leg comes off, you will have an awkward time unplugging everything from the TV so you can position it to put the leg back on
