LG Electronics 8X USB 2.0 Super Multi Ultra Slim Portable DVD+/-RW External Drive with M-DISC Support, Retail (Silver) GP60NS50

    • A bit slow at points and slightly loud, but it gets everything done.
    • A bit loud but gets the job done
    • Speed for loading some content is a bit slow but understandable since it's a USB connection.
    • Feels a little bit cheap - not sure I would be happy toting it around everyday with my laptop, but it's a cheap alternative to the Apple Superdrive and works great for my iMac and for occasional use.
    • It can get a bit loud during a software install unless you sit it on something soft
    • it works like a champ, for many hours at a stretch, never stumbles or overheats, just steadily works away perfectly in the background. not a single complaint about it's performance, which I consider to be stellarCONS: a bit hard to set up, it's not plug and play.
    • I was a bit skeptical on purchasing the product only because there were no reviews on it being used with Windows10 and a Surface device combined
    • Additionally, it's a bit flimsier than I would have liked; not sure how it will hold up.
    • Little bit noisy at full speed
    • I wasted quite a bit of time and even needed to contact customer service regarding this.
    • It's quite a bit louder than any of my other external devices, and granted, it does have other parts that cause that, I just didn't expect it to be *
    • A bit too sensitive to scratches on disks other then that is nice.
    • May be a bit more expensive, but with better compatibility.
    • The fastest I saw was about 20x read, but my old drives typically gave me 40x
    • Just don"t like.
    • DON"T BOTHER
