    • With all of the new portable computing devices not having ROM drives this thing sure is nice when you need one
    • The device is nice and durable.
    • So I downloaded VLC Media Player and then re-inserted the DVD, clicked it when the computer recognized the device and had it open/play the DVD with VLC and it worked

    • As a burner this device is just fine and my MacBookPro recognized it simply by plugging in AND inserting a dvd

    • It's a well-designed device, very light and uses ONE single cable, unlike other cheaper models which require two cables (one for power and one for the data)..
    • The reader/writer can also be plugged into a television and used as a portable storage device (IE: The TV recognizes it as a USB drive so you can play videos, music or view photos that are on a CD-ROM
