    LG Electronics 8X USB 2.0 Super Multi Ultra Slim Portable DVD+/-RW External Drive with M-DISC Support, Retail (Silver) GP60NS50

    • Easy to install, just put the disc in and it will run automatically
    • It made some screeching, ticking, beeping and at one point it started stuttering and sound like it was scratching up the disc
    • This is a decent, affordable disc drive/
    • No matter which DVD I try to play, I get the error message that the disc is damaged and cannot be read
    • I would be afraid to ever put an important disc inside or try to burn something to a blank disc
    • I tried burning DVD's on an iMac but on every occasion the disc was not readable by any machine, Mac or PC
    • Took 3 minutes to burn a disc of 20 songs, not bad...takes my home computer half the

    • Sometimes the computer wouldn't recognize the drive, sometime it wouldn't read discs, sometimes it would fail in the middle of burning a disc
    • Does the job and alright, is a bit slower than a normal built in DVD drive while reading and burning discs but again haven’t had any issues with playback
    • I can just keep it in a drawer when not using it (though it looks nice enough to just leave on the desk all the time) and when I want to burn a disc, it's plug and play!

    • i use this disc drive with my imac & have had no significant problems with reading or burning discs
