It is stainless steel and you wont have the rust factor messing up your very expensive washer and dryer set.

We have a stainless steel washer and dryer, the chrome is a bit more distinct than we expected

Directions could be a bit clearer, but there are videos online that are easy to fine.

Only issue was the screw holes had to be bored out a bit which was annoying halfway through the job.
