Historically I have not been impressed with devices like this for use while speaking on a cell phone, but this device is actually really good as a Bluetooth headset
You wear this device around your neck like a collar rather than over or around the back of your head like traditional headsets.
This is a pretty cool wearable device that's easy to use and functions very well
I can’t imagine wearing a nicer audio device than this one.
Not the most fashionable device ever, but really handy if you want sound but don't want to wear headphones.
Great product and would recommend to anyone that hates the uncomfortable feeling of most headphones.
Not worth the price and had to return it this product doesn't make the wonders
Not worth the price and had to return it this product doesn't make the wonders
The product inside is seemed clear but I can't stop feel annoyed.
n’t lose the earplug because it is tide to the headset plus it nicely tuck away when not in used.- The earplug coil itself back into place by just tugging
Overall, the quality of the technology is typically LG excellent but the sound of the speakers was a letdown for me.
Sound quality from the exterior speakers is very good, and I was even a bit impressed with the sound quality from the earbuds
The sound quality of the in ear plugs is good, better than my LG HBS700.
I'm shocked that LG, a company I used to highly respect, would sink so low as to mislead their customers in order to increase sales
My main problem is I like the gimmick of having the speakers, however two of them face into your shoulders and do nothing for the fairly poor sound quality

While the amazing battery life and sound quality are impressive, I don't see much interest in this built-in speaker feature which does very little else than add considerable bulk
Battery life excellent as I keep the headphones connected to both business and personal phones daily
I'm shocked that LG, a company I used to highly respect, would sink so low as to mislead their customers in order to increase sales
Every generation introduced new features and benefits, such as improved battery life, better audio quality, cord winders
According to all of LG's hype about the Tone Studio, this was groundbreaking new technology that gave the listener "rich volume and theater-quality sound", "real 3D Surround" and the promise that, "the Wearable Bass speakers allow your body to feel the sound as if you are right there"
I also feel like the volume doesn't go high enough sometimes, especially in speaker mode
neat idea, poor volume.
Surround sound was good and the volume level appropriate
Sound volume not good, have to be in silent area to hear well
Yul love this item if you want the most flexexsbility in a wearable device.

You are reading snippets from reviews of LG Tone Studio HBS-W120 - Wearable Personal Speaker - Titan Gray
YES in that it's WAY higher sound quality compared to other portable speakers at similar price points
And if you want to use Bluetooth earphones, you would probably do better with regular ones that don't give you a speaker collar to hang around your neck
I've used it for quick conference calls, and a couple of other scenarios where multiple people around me wanted to listen to what I was listening to, but honestly the speaker on here is almost no better than what a current Android/iPhone would produce from their speakers
The speakers sound pretty good and the earbuds sound great.
While the earbuds provide a much truer sound reproduction, the speakers in the unit fall short of how it's described by the manufacturer.
It is nowhere near as good as listening to music through a nice set of headphones
Maybe 2.5 x size of LG Tone Platinum?Ok done with the negative(s)
First the negative(s):- They may be a little big if you are worried about personal image in public
LG’s answer is the TONE Studio wearable speaker; a nice set of speakers that lie comfortably on your shoulder and let sound fill your ears
Personally, I will give this 4 stars because it's a really nice set, but I just don't see the value of the speakers and the HBS1100 can be found and a much cheaper price point for similar sound quality out of the buds.

Now the earbuds, in my opinion, are excellent for music and blocking outside noise from interfering with the sound
This very cool looking LG Tone wearable personal speaker device is very useful in specific situations, where earbuds or headphones are impractical or unwanted, such as in situations where you'd prefer to hear the ambient sounds around you
Many of the reviewers agree with me, that the speakers are cr*p, but the earbuds are great
Not a big deal because the earbuds sound very good, but I prefer to not use them because I like feeling the music and I’m often not around anyone else
Maybe 2.5 x size of LG Tone Platinum?Ok done with the negative(s)
It's a nice idea because a lot of people don't like having ear buds or big bulky headsets while working out, but please don't use this at the gym
First the negative(s):- They may be a little big if you are worried about personal image in public
I sure hope they go back to the drawing board on this device instead of throwing the concept out, because if the audio quality was as good as advertised, this would be the ideal headset for receiving TV or phone audio in my home
: This is the use case where the headset performed reasonably well in a relatively quiet space
