Data can be used to(send or receive a picture) to go on line when you are not using your (free) WiFi
I had 300 mb of data time that was used very rapidly (15 minutes) by surfing on google images because I did not configure the phone to connect to the "free" wifi that was available in a hospital
Just keep the data turned off and use free WiFi instead.
There is free wifi everywhere, so about the only time I use data, is when I am using google maps with traffic info turned on
The data went fast because I unknowingly used the phone without connecting to a free wifi connection that was available
Also, the 4.5" screen is just the right size, at least for me
This screen is the perfect size for me not too big and a lot easier for viewing and texting.
I have the phone set for her to read or (speak) my text messages when I get them and who it is thats calling or their number without me touching the phone, this is nice if you're driving or busy at the time
I still miss the small size that I could easily slip into my pocket.
5 stars for the nice size screen, apps and easy to use keyboard
the only problem with tracfone is there should be a booklet to explain how everything on this phone works.
Now, I'm speaking as a Bank Security Officer (not to be confused with 'Security Guard') when I say that if you plan on utilizing this phone for "home banking" purposes, or, if you're going to have any personal and confidential information stored on it - and, you WILL, whether you know it or not - I would recommend the Clean Master (a/k/a CM Security) Suite
Been with tracfone for about 2 years, this phone works great
Phone works great, almost as good as my company phone a Samsung 4.
Activation required a call to Tracfone, as the online activation did not work properly, but once done it's been activated, the phone works great.
well have to say that I had purchased this phone and received it on the 31st of July and it does not work as of
The other day I was confused as to why none of my golf apps were working, the entire day.
7.0)Limited to 5 GB of internal memory (apps cannot be saved and run from SD card)Won't send SMS messages sometimes (may just be my particular device)Poor camera quality
The phone is easy to use, and the quality of sound is quite good during the calls.
Pros: cheap, pretty easy to use and setup, decent quality, pay as you go, no contract, lightweight, Android OS, LG phone seems solid
The phone has a large clear screen, is well sized in your hand, and looks great!
The screen looks great and the reception, both for phone and wifi, is very good
I purchased this phone as an upgrade to my LG 39C which had some annoying performance issues- down level version of Android, clunky touch screen, poor battery life
Great camera, great battery life, fast, responsive keypad, good internal memory, crisp clear screen, perfect size, lightweight, etc., etc
The 4.5 screen is great for those of us that don't see as well as we used to and nice and crisp
didn't leave one crack in the screen..although it did mess up the bottom of the screen a slight bit with the digitizer, but not enough so you cant read what it says...the whole touch screen still works yet...battery still holds a decent charge...i have downloaded over 1500 songs and the memory is still fair
Of course I'm an amateur photography enthusiast, so my opinion may be a bit harsh.
This phone doesn't come in an AT&T compatible option, so I can't have one (I'm stuck with AT&T)
Both cameras however can blur quite a bit if you are the phone too much
I know this is not a review for the Tracfone service, but I know that some people are nervous about doing
I know that some people have had problems with Tracfone's customer service, but I have honestly never had a single bad experience with them
Great people!!

I ended up transferring my old phone number from a different provider to get the correct area code, otherwise people in my area wouldn't recognize it as a local number and may not pick up.
I transferred my previous Tracfone phone number and minutes on their website and it went flawlessly

easy enough to transfer old phone number - just having trouble finding out how to use it.
I was able to transfer my previous phone number from my old Tracfone over to the new one along with all my minutes and activation time.
