I went with lower wattage LED bulbs but between the two it lights up the room and desk.

Liked the overall style of lamp, but the plastic shade of the top bulb seemed poor quality.

I also purchased two LED bulbs and the quality of the light and ablity to point the reading lamp in any direction is great.
