Great value, not as sturdy as I hoped for but does meet my needs.

Would give 5 stars if did not have to do a little creative work to make one of the sections with stripped threads fit soundly.

With a 150 W-equivalent three-way bulb in the top, the lamp lights a large apartment room very well

I was looking for a lamp to brighten my computer room and also provide light to my work area.

The combination of uplight and downlight results in a very well-lit room.

I've used this so far just to illuminate my living room and as a craft lamp.

But for some reason any light bulb I put in the small arm burns out after a day or two

I bought a 3-way (50w-100w-150w) LED daylight bulb for the top fixture and a std 60w led bulb for the reading lamp

The side light works very well with an LED floodlight style bulb.

The shades are cheap plastic, so I wouldn’t recommend incandescent light bulbs

We might bump up the florescent bulb to the next level -- which should still be within electrical tolerance

When assembling the light pole have patience, when scewing each pole rod attachment do it slowly if silver grooves are showing unscrew and try it again as I did and light pole will turn out perfect

The pole was very flimsy and screwing the pieces together was a tremendous amount of frustration as the cord did not feed through well and they last two portion the cord doesn't tighten, so your trying to mash cord up into the pole and screw the pieces together

The floor lamp was good quality, easy to assemble, and it totally suits the needs for my home.

As far as the assembly is concerned, to make it easier to put together, pull on the cord from the base of the lamp to increase the tension and bring the pieces of the lamp together.

Assembly was super easy - I did not even look at the instructions.

I got this product was a little disappointed as one part of the stand was cross treadedso that is something to be aware of.

I saw the other comments about the cheap plastic "shades".

Very flimsy plastic shades and the lower light did not work until I worked on the wiring.

Not only was the price right, but the lights are just perfect in a tight spot, offering both directed reading/working and a room illuminating top shaded light

The bottom light shade is stainless to match the pole, white the top shade is plastic and rather small - the only downside to an otherwise great lamp.

I've had 2 of these and the first one worked for about a year and then the switch didn't work correctly.

Right out of the box, the switch on the side light would not work.

I am very unpleased with my lamp the reading lamp switch does not work at all!

I bought this for my 90 year old grandma, and she has no problem turning the switch on and off.
