None of these wonderful things can work if the switch WON'T POWER UP.

Quality of Service (QoS) tagging is a very good thing to have if you do anything with in-home video or audio streaming

To be fair, I'm giving the Linksys switch 3 stars because I can't positively confirm there isn't another problem causing the packet loss.

What's weird about this problem is if I connect an Apple Airport Extreme in bridge mode to the satellite box, no packet loss occurs

Packet loss is still happening

Works as you would expect.

The unit works as it should and is easy to install.
