It's pretty unbelievable how much work it must have been to write firmware that intentionally cripples your product so that it is suitable only for the most basic home users with little interest in customizing their network or their network security.
excellent product and great and fast services and fast response
Great product, set it up to replace a router rented through my internet provider
Spent ~5 hours and in the end they said I have a defected product
We purchased this and found out it is a really great product.
Also compatible with faster internet speeds as our old router was limited as to the speed it could handle.
I have had two small issues, one with connectivity initially and one with very slow upload download speeds, but a call to Linksys solved it all.
I bought this router hoping it would fix the slow internet speed and low signal strength at my house
I bought this router to replace the TP-Link AC1200 router, after having issues with limited range and slow speeds (in a 2 bedroom apartment, not a 4,000 square foot home).
Router seems pretty solid, really easy setup, great speeds.
Very fast router, easy to setup and get good signal strength all around the house.
When it is actually working it has a strong signal throughout the house.
When on my laptop I lost the signal then got a notification that I was connected to my wifi extender not to my actual router with internet
We were using an Asus WiFi Router at work but the back of the office always had a very weak signal
Great router, my only complaint is that maybe a couple times per day I lose wifi signal to all my devices long enough for them to drop connection and then regain connectionRange is incredible
; DO NOT BUY A LINKSYS router; according to the Comcast technicians this is a known issue with the brand, not just the model.
Now I have strong WiFi for 2 smart tv’s, Direct TV, smartphones, an iPad, kindle fire, sprinkler and HVAC system and security system all over my 3,000sq ft home and every corner of an 1/2 acre yard
I can play Smash Bros on Wii U while my toddler watches YouTube videos on my phone
To fix my AirPlay streaming I needed a stronger S/N ratio, and to get a stronger S/N ratio, I need to pick my own radio bands, and to pick my own radio bands, I need to disable band steering and set up three distinct SSIDs

I deeply regret purchasing this, it was an expensive router, now it is an expensive cause of connectivity issues
I then logged the phones and tv in again and now have zero connectivity issues.
I have also plugged a 2T Hard Drive into it and setup my own cloud to serve all the devices on the property as well as we are out running arouns

I've had the router for about a month and have not experienced connection issues that many have reported

Then I started to experience internet connection problems, even though I was still connected to my home network and could interact with my printer and desktop.

Attempting to update settings via the web interface would occasionally result in a brick, requiring a hard reset
I went through several hours of trying everything, including multiple hard resets and finally it just started working.
We have a strong 5ghz signal all throughout the house on 3 Smart TV’s, 3 smartphones, an IPad and a Firestick.

Upgraded to this model to actually take care of some dead spots in the house.

Wifi in my home is faster and there are less dead spots
We used to have more dead spots in our small brick townhouse.
Bought this bad boy back on Oct '17, so far with no issues
With this bad boy I'm getting my 900MBPS that I'm paying for
The boys were having lag issues when gaming and our internet TV was hitching
Ok im no super computer guy, but I can tell you that I needed a bigger , faster router to support all the WiFi devices in our home and this bad boy is handling the job with ease
My boys always complained about the lagging in the video gaming and now they are very happy.
