Capacity:16-Port
Upgrade the data paths of your local wired network to information superhighways with Gigabit switches at the desktop. Accelerate your performance and productivity when you send large fi les to network servers, drives, and printers ...
It is completely Plug and Play (with no real manual to speak of) and solidly constructed with a sturdy metal case
The switch has a sturdy, all-metal body, which I like a lot
It's made of sturdy metal, it's very compact, it has lights in all the right places, it's gigabit on all 16 ports, there's an 80w budget of power for the 8 PoE ports and it supports all the major PoE protocols including: IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3x, 802.3ab, 802.3az, 802.3af, and 802.3at.

Great price, easy management, PoE+ on 4 ports works as it should - great Linksys quality in every way.
This switch was perfect because the price is great, its gigabit (pretty much necessary nowadays).
; hence, no "P" on the model number and "fanless"...Don't let the 4 stars scare you away, if your situation warrants the fan and the distance from the unit is ample enough, then this is a great unit.
great price for a 24 port (12 POE) with gigabit speed on all ports
Works great, priced at half what the VOIP company wanted for there switch
; hence, no "P" on the model number and "fanless"...Don't let the 4 stars scare you away, if your situation warrants the fan and the distance from the unit is ample enough, then this is a great unit.
DOES NOT support passive poe.
The 24, 28, and 52 port take a standard computer style power plug and come with a right angle cord.*****CONCLUSION*****In the end, these have been great POE switches
Right now I'm happy I found a cost-effective PoE solution.
You need to know how much wattage your devices use before you can pick the right POE switch
It's quiet, seems to work ok, and powers SOME PoE devices.
There's also a POE max indicator light (lights up at 85% max output), as well as power indicators for each POE switch.
The total power available to POE is 50 Watts, so you can power two 25 watt devices, four 10 watt devices, etc
My previous Buffalo switch could only support power up to 30w, and this Linksys can provide up to 80, so it is a pretty considerable jump if you are looking for a PoE switch for multiple devices.
This is a great Power over Internet gigabit switch for your smaller office.
; hence, no "P" on the model number and "fanless"...Don't let the 4 stars scare you away, if your situation warrants the fan and the distance from the unit is ample enough, then this is a great unit.
It worked as expected.
