Great product, set it up to replace a router rented through my internet provider
Spent two hours on the phone with linksys and even though the person helping me agrees that the product is defective they want me to call back again for a ‘second opinion
If your internet products are close, it's a good product.
Spent ~5 hours and in the end they said I have a defected product
We were using an Asus WiFi Router at work but the back of the office always had a very weak signal
My internet providers wifi router just couldnt keep up and had poor signal
Great router, my only complaint is that maybe a couple times per day I lose wifi signal to all my devices long enough for them to drop connection and then regain connectionRange is incredible
My Roku enabled TV rejected the signal as being too weak.
Very fast router, easy to setup and get good signal strength all around the house.
Now I have strong WiFi for 2 smart tv’s, Direct TV, smartphones, an iPad, kindle fire, sprinkler and HVAC system and security system all over my 3,000sq ft home and every corner of an 1/2 acre yard
To fix my AirPlay streaming I needed a stronger S/N ratio, and to get a stronger S/N ratio, I need to pick my own radio bands, and to pick my own radio bands, I need to disable band steering and set up three distinct SSIDs
; DO NOT BUY A LINKSYS router; according to the Comcast technicians this is a known issue with the brand, not just the model.

I then logged the phones and tv in again and now have zero connectivity issues.
I have also plugged a 2T Hard Drive into it and setup my own cloud to serve all the devices on the property as well as we are out running arouns
The smaller things I’ve been liking as well, such as the lights on the device indicating connectivity issues and the app I can download which customizes the WiFi experience

I love the remote management app which allows me to troubleshoot (or create) connection problems for my wife if I'm not at home
This new router immediately solved all the connection problems I had been having with my 5 year old NetGear router
Super quick to setup and solved all the very annoying connection problems I was having at home while using an old Apple Airport Express

Then I started to experience internet connection problems, even though I was still connected to my home network and could interact with my printer and desktop.
Attempting to update settings via the web interface would occasionally result in a brick, requiring a hard reset
We have a strong 5ghz signal all throughout the house on 3 Smart TV’s, 3 smartphones, an IPad and a Firestick.
Now I have strong WiFi for 2 smart tv’s, Direct TV, smartphones, an iPad, kindle fire, sprinkler and HVAC system and security system all over my 3,000sq ft home and every corner of an 1/2 acre yard
After setting up my account and looking through the router setup site and trying to figure out all the different option I gave up and did a hard reset of the router
I have also plugged a 2T Hard Drive into it and setup my own cloud to serve all the devices on the property as well as we are out running arouns
I have tried reboots, changing channels, firmware upgrade, disabled IPv6, the list goes on
Oh, and if you don't get great 5Ghz performance, change the channel numbers and disable IPv6 on your interfaces
That I do like as I
After a lot of screwing around and a fair amount of research, it appears this has been a problem since 2015.For many, the solution is to disable IPV6.
In forums, Linksys tech support suggests to disable ipv6 through the router settings as a workaround to get parental controls functioning, but that didn't work with my router (and is an unwelcome capability limitation).
We used to have more dead spots in our small brick townhouse.

Wifi in my home is faster and there are less dead spots
As I walked around my house after setting it up, most of the dead spots were gone
Bought this bad boy back on Oct '17, so far with no issues
My boys always complained about the lagging in the video gaming and now they are very happy.
The boys were having lag issues when gaming and our internet TV was hitching
Ok im no super computer guy, but I can tell you that I needed a bigger , faster router to support all the WiFi devices in our home and this bad boy is handling the job with ease
With this bad boy I'm getting my 900MBPS that I'm paying for
