If you can run ethernet cables to each node I highly recommend the Ubiquiti UniFi system instead.
An affordable mesh system for basic Internet accounts is a wonderful idea, but it needs to work

This is in theory a great home wifi system, I tried to implement coming over from a google wifi mesh system and let's just say the Velop is back in the box, the google wifi is back connected

The zones between nodes was unreliable, and the coverage wasn't any better than I had before
For the price, I'd rather just buy a single WIFI router.....it would work better and provide more reliable coverage.

Now that it's deployed, the Velop system seems to be working great.
Adding different router did work but switching from one to another is not smooth and some device tends to stick to one even though there are much better access point around
So far it has worked great and the lag I was experiencing before was now almost nonexistent and the picture is great.
I reconfigured these to a new space , and they are still working perfect
cheaper.,with that being said this works very well right now

Attractive and easy to set up, I was disappointed when my Ring doorbell (about 25 feet away from the main node) complained of poor signal strength
I reinstalled my old system and once again we have a strong signal
I installed a three piece system and added two more units to get as strong a signal as possible to my master bedroom where I do most of my 4K movie watching via Apple TV.
In my 3300 sq ft house I needed 5 of them to give all my devices a good strong signal.
