I’m currently rocking an iPhone 6 and the magnet fits perfectly in my case and still has a very strong hold without any unsightly or clunky clamps to deal with.

The replacement works much better and the joint holds strong and keeps my phone at the right angle

I bought this mainly because of the way the vent clip has a hook for a more secure hold

Not all is lost for me though, I smoothed the back of the holder where the hook came out, got some 3M duo lock which is like velcro, but a lot stronger holding.

Over time, the push into the vent design lost its hold on the vents and when I removed the cell phone from the holder the entire magnetic holder contraption would come with it.
