I love this thing

I have a gas stove & I love this thing!!

If you let it heat up slowly this thing will last and not warp

Great size for cooking meals for several people

Perfect size for a center grilling eye on a stove.

Though the size is decent, it is bowed.

Pros: it is lighter than cast iron, works w/my induction cook top, & is a generous size; versatile uses (we've used it stove top for grilled sandwiches & pancakes, oven for fish & to bake bread, etc.)Cons: still quite heavy; arrived w/a brainier

This griddle warps to a single point on my glass top stove, then swivels around on that point

There are some others out there which would be fantastic, but I had to consider the fact it would be used on a glass top stove

After binge watching YouTube cooking videos, I decided a stove top griddle was for me

I originally bought it to use on my ceramic top stove, it isn't good for that

This product does not lay flat so it will not lay flat on electric or work well for induction stop tops (which is what we have).

have a lot of cast iron this is like getting grammom,s pan with out all the work keep up the good work lodge

I don't think it would have worked well on my electric glass top though.

i took an old paint stripper on my drill , stripped the seasoning , took some 50 , 120 & 220 gritsand paper , smooth out to all most mirror finished . and finished with a high Temp ,very thin seasoning .it just as good as any flat top iron I ever used now .

I treat this pan like it was cast iron

Cast iron is generally accepted to be the hottest surface you can cook on

, it's amazing to have a big flat hot surface to work with

Very nice flat surface for everything from pancakes, to steaks

My grill has uneven heat spots and this plancha has allowed me to have an even and VERY hot cooking surface!

It was made well and a good griddle for the use intended.

within months the griddle warped.

The "reversible" griddles are not flat, so won't work with induction

Believe the other reviews that say the griddle is warped and bent right out of the box
