Pros: it is lighter than cast iron, works w/my induction cook top, & is a generous size; versatile uses (we've used it stove top for grilled sandwiches & pancakes, oven for fish & to bake bread, etc.)Cons: still quite heavy; arrived w/a brainier

i took an old paint stripper on my drill , stripped the seasoning , took some 50 , 120 & 220 gritsand paper , smooth out to all most mirror finished . and finished with a high Temp ,very thin seasoning .it just as good as any flat top iron I ever used now .
I treat this pan like it was cast iron
