The handle gets too hot!

The handle feels good in my hands & distributes heat evenly.

Always use the mitten with it, because the handle gets hot

The description does say the handle may get hot which it does, very hot

Being cast iron the handle does get hot as expected.

So versatile, you can cook a huge varity of dishes and food just tastes better...get yourself a hot handle holder and get cooking !

Since it retains heat for so long, low consistent heat produces the best result (otherwise food will burn quickly).As mentioned earlier, this thing gets hot, so let it cool for a while before touching the handle or cleaning

Also since its iron, one should wear gloves as surface will become hot (especially the handle)

don’t have to worry burning stuff and heats up evenly but l hat hot handle l wish if handle is covered with wood or silicone.

I was really excited when I ordered the griddle but when I received it the handle was broken and it was a skillet
