Even the keycaps look, really just, cheap
-
The keycaps are difficult to remove, and difficult to get proper replacements for
-
The keycaps are quite unlike any other keyboard I've used, and some reviewers don't like them.
-
Point 2, the keycaps don't really feel all that great
-
Quieter, smoother than the Razor (cherry browns)The keycaps are easy to remove, easy to replace
-
Some don't like the keycaps, and honestly I didn't either at first
-
They decided to put the absolute worst keycaps on these switches.
-
I barely notice them, they are good keycaps in my opinion
-
Lack of alternate keycapsWith other keyboards, you can easily swap out the keycaps with customized ones
-
The keyboard is good but the only complaint is the awkward keycaps
-
the coming months of usage will tell whether or not that statement holds true• Keycaps are very easy to remove and replace for simple cleaningCons:• RGB lighting with G gaming software is....interesting
-
I do think they are not intended for everyone, though Logitech has some curved keycaps available.- Switches: silent, and I liked the feeling.- Great response!- Straightforwardness of the utility software- Good
-
And with a painful finger I considered thatthe awkward keycaps might do the trick
-
On the first day of using it, I already knew the keyboard had weird keycaps and a weird overall look to it
-
Just for sport, I'll list some other experiences that have helped me reconsider the Logitech brand."G502 - scroll wheel rattle, rough textured glide.""K800 - spacebar seated higher than the rest of the keys, squeaky keys.""G510s - backlight causes palm rest to heat, keys do not stay depressed(low tolerance) and are quite stiff.""G402 - mouse feet can peel, the side grip rubber can cause blisters.""G100s - the clicks are quite flimsy, and clicking near the dpi button can cause accidental actuation.""G910 - thin plastic housing for the switches and probably the cheapest keycaps out there
-
Some people may find the keycaps very uncomfortable but I find them very good they for me a person with small hands this keyboard is perfect
-
The keycaps aren't as bad as some people make it out to be
-
I can see myself getting used to them and they're not too bad, I just wish I could switch them out for better keycaps
-
It's all about the feel, yes, the keycaps are shaped weird but after a week or use you get used to
-
But I rate this keyboard 3 stars because of the fact that you have to overcome some things that might be deal-breaking such as the keycaps, the weird looks (to some), and the half-decent wrist wrest(s)
-
Personally, I have gotten used to the feel of the weird keycaps that the keyboard comes with but based on Linus's Facebook, its a lot better
-
I will keep this review updated with things I find as time goes by.------------------------------------------Update #1The inclusion of a volume wheel is REALLY appreciated! The markings on the WASD keys really need to go, but the keycaps are not replaceable with Cherry keycaps
-
The "dock" for the smart phone is a bit cheap and plastic-y.
-
A very easy to program mechanical keyboard.
-
For now I'm leaving the rating a 4/5, driven by optimism that I will grow to enjoy the keyboard more as I use it, and the fact that given everything I've said, it's still a great keyboard with tons of features I was looking for
-
That isn't to say that this keyboard isn't pretty good, it just isn't as great as it could be considering this is the successor to the G710 (which I also own).First - The key caps are miserable
-
...update: a s e x no longer work, have to trash the board now
-
The sugar in the soda must have shorted something out because now the LED’s don’t
-
The W, S, 2, and Z key would no longer work
-
