On this wheel once I exceed the limit there is this dead zone where the wheel / programming doesn't know what to
-
Like I said, it's not perfect: there are some dead zones, feedback is artificial, but it does simulate steering a race car well
-
I kept reading about people complaining about a ‘dead zone
-
Dead zone is wide until you start to race then it tightens up
-
I only considered a Thrustmaster as people report the middle is a dead zone, but practically it's not true, on Dirt
-
It's very strong and the ffb dead zone some have mentioned is not an issue on my set.
-
I'd like the ability to adjust the dead zone for the force feedback to match my dead zone for the wheel input in-game
-
If you're braking as hard as you physically want to brake, and the red box is not filling up, then lower your outer deceleration dead zone a bit more
-
On FM6 I run my deceleration outside dead zone at 70 and it works phenomenally
-
The Logitech wheel has a larger dead zone for the force feedback so the MadCatz wheel feels more responsive
-
pedal). The correct solution is to modify the outer dead zone for deceleration to about 50-70% -- you can test the optimal setting by driving and watching the red bar on the bottom-right hand of your HUD in FM7 -- this shows you braking pressure
-
The force feedback does have a slight dead zone when the wheel is centered but nothing that has bothered me or is really noticeable unless you try to feel for it
-
There's also a considerably significant force-feedback "deadzone" when the wheel is centered, even with Forza 6's inside dead zone set to "0", making the driving feel a bit sloppy.
-
The wheel is smooth and quiet with virtually no dead zone.
-
However, in a more arcade environment or with ABS on (Horizon 3) it is very, very annoying as it is almost impossible to get 100% braking pressure without feeling like you’re going to break the thing, or remapping the dead zones, which to me should not be needed in something retailing for $399

Project Cars was in my experience the only time i noticed any Force feedback Dead zone about a Mm or 2 (very small), thats to be expected with a gear driven wheel tho
-
Some will have the dead-zone off.
