Fro...
No problem, at all, while pressing together the keys Shift+W+SpaceBar (it means run and jump). And for work is perfect, the kb backlight automatic bright feature is perfect, and the proximity sensor behind the palm rest, is perfect too.
Just out of the box, for the first time, the E and the A weren't working
Another great feature is that I already own the wireless Trackpad and the keyboard and trackpadcan use the same receiver
I like the feel of the keys and the lighted feature is great.
The backlight feature is great as well, and is one of the primary reasons I originally purchased it as I have hated needing to use a keyboard in low-light conditions and not seeing the keys
battery life lasts a long time and the light on it works great.
Battery life hasn't been an issue, charging it every other week or so
Battery life will decline to annoying levels after about 3 years, so realize you will be replacing that somehow or factor in a new keyboard to your budget.
The biggest downfall for me being the awful battery life.
The illumination works great, battery life is long, and it's easy to type
Oh well I soon enough realized this is not a waterproof
Great feel for the keys, tailored options for the keyboard and extra features included in the Logitech K800.Except for the quality issues on the two I received, I would highly recommend this unit, if you can get a fully functioning one initially.
I did not bother Amazon because well I had a 5 yr full warranty with SquareTrade
One going bad might be a fluke but both of them going bad so soon, I think they have a quality issue.
I've had this thing for over 5 years and it works just as well as when I first got it
A big thanks, Logitech!(curious, I always engage tech workers, as I once was
good as that makes it ezier than getting used to a revised new fangled change in the new K800
Built-in sensors detect your hands as they approach the keyboard and, in turn, toggle the backlight on and off; the keyboard lights up when your hands are roughly four inches away, causing it to brighten up as you reach for it
I've had this thing for over 5 years and it works just as well as when I first got it
I've waited to make this review in the event a design flaw or a problematic use case might surface
a number key pad, key action sound and motion is just perfect for me.
the oversize Enter key on the number pad comes off regularly and will not stay in place
I do touch type, but using the numeric key pad, the media keys, or just being tired and a bit lacking in accuracy, I really do appreciate seeing the keys clearly, when I want to.
I also did bookkeeping early in my working years using 10 key by touch and for accounting the number pad is superior to using numbers above letter rows.
a number key pad, key action sound and motion is just perfect for me.
A light for the number pad lock would've been cool as well
(No, it's the number lock key, I promise).I always have to buy this keyboard from Best Buy because I use my computer non-stop and can't even go two Prime days without one.
I lost the caps lock, a, s, and w... Pretty important keys
Wish the number lock had a indicator on it but otherwise like very much.
