This is an excellent product that glides smoothly and works as expected in almost every circumstance (it won't work on a glass top table).

I have pretty good sized hands, and this is a good size for me (it's around the same size as the Logitech M500 that I use as my day to day mouse with my desktop)

Best feature is the suitably measured click pressure for both left and right mouse buttons - presents just enough pressure to "not" be overly sensitive and hasn't double-clicked once in error!

This is the second Logitech mouse that has failed early for me.

This by far is the most form fit and comfortable logitech mouse I have used.

I am still using the original higher resolution M510 with the actual real laser sensor, and although it does not work accurately 100% of the time due to inherent laser sensitivity issues which occur on uneven desktop surfaces, it's an extremely beautiful mouse with a beautiful logo

The mouse does function smoothly on plastic mouse pads or hard surfaces but is a bit noisy

Even though this is an optic mouse, it doesn't take well to highly smooth surfaces (even a smooth mouse pad), but it works well on other surfaces.

Only issue is the receiver does not have grooves to grasp which makes it hard to remove from the computer port.

The unifying receiver is useful if you also use a Logitech keyboard

Unfortunately, now I am reading that other people are having the same problem with the wheel, even after multiple replacements; sounds like Logitech either cheapened up or it is just a bad design.

Mouse wheel is loose in the track and rattles when a slight lateral force is applied.

The only issue is that, over time, the mouse wheel's rubber with start to fall apart and come off the wheel completely.

It is only slightly better, the mouse wheel is still noisy and loose.
