doesnt like some surfaces over others, but this mouse has dropped from my 3 ft bed several times.. and once dropped down my entire staircase (dont ask how) and it still works perfectly fine for me

The mouse does function smoothly on plastic mouse pads or hard surfaces but is a bit noisy

Even though this is an optic mouse, it doesn't take well to highly smooth surfaces (even a smooth mouse pad), but it works well on other surfaces.

On a soft surfaces the Logitech is a horror!

I am still using the original higher resolution M510 with the actual real laser sensor, and although it does not work accurately 100% of the time due to inherent laser sensitivity issues which occur on uneven desktop surfaces, it's an extremely beautiful mouse with a beautiful logo

I use my 525 with my laptop and since it's mostly used on hard surfaces, it works as well as can be expected

This mouse feels very solid for the price, glides very smoothly across my fairly rough surfaced desk, and gets up and running with zero difficulty

The Logitech M510 tracks well on a hard surface, unless you lift the mouse a lot

I have a lot of check boxes I have to click and as fast as I can if I want to complete my assessment and move to another job.

The USB keeps disconnecting during use for a second or two...really disappointed as I've had mouses that lasted *years

Still works as if brand new 3 Years later.

Only minor problem I have is the scroll button in the middle is not working to well as it did before, but might probably be the laptop, or I need to change battery soon

This was a replacement for an old M510 which stopped working as it kept double clicking automatically
