You may be able to beat the odds, bad batches or statistical manufacturing defects might make 90% of the mice fine... but mine is not

Potentially mine was from a defective batch, but I've seen numerous complaints about this issue across a few different forums now, all with different dates and times.

super hand fit and in all functions is as smoothly responsive as you could ever want, without being jerky.

I'm also confused as to why Logitech Options isn't compatible with this mouse

Although I've tried Logitech's $66 MX Master and a different, $12 laser mouse, I still prefer the M705 as of this writing

It's not quite as big as the Microsoft 5000 mouse which I LOVED b/c of how well it fit my hand.

hope the battery life lasts as long as it says b/c my much more expensive logitech mouse burns through batteries like crazy
