Once the failure occurs, single clicks sporadically become double clicks, which results in strange behaviors occurring while you're trying to use your applications.

Only thing I'd recommend is that if you do not intend on using the bottom thumb button to disable it as its default behavior on a windows PC is to "fly out" and show previews of all of your programs

Tested another Logitech(M310) mouse I had laying around and did not notice the strange behavior as noticed with the M705.

The size is awkward, and the sensor is placed at the side, which means it has strange behavior during the normal "pick-up-and-move" motion you do to center the mouse on the surface

It now will send random signals and cause erratic behavior in windows

super hand fit and in all functions is as smoothly responsive as you could ever want, without being jerky.

I'm also confused as to why Logitech Options isn't compatible with this mouse

Although I've tried Logitech's $66 MX Master and a different, $12 laser mouse, I still prefer the M705 as of this writing
