Logitech touts "hyperscroll" as a feature, but I strongly disagree

I didn't think I'd care about the fast scroll feature, but it's very convenient

The mouse lost some features in the 2018 update but is generally a pleasure to use

The best feature that I looooove about this mouse is the scroll wheel feature that I wonder why no other brands have built into their mouse

I like its look and feel, it has some nice features even with my Mac, and I've had no problems with it--the original battery is still going, though I usually forget to turn it off when leaving for a few days

The wireless feature is reliable

I have purchased other Logitech MX mice for the free spinning wheel feature, and thought I could save money by purchasing this model.

However, some complaints I've seen about this mouse in other websites come from people who have not read the manual and missed some features this mouse offers that address their complaints

It is a handy feature though.

The M705 has handy features not found on most mice at a very fair price.

Whoever was in charge of designing those scroll wheels that "unlock" needs to go away for good, that is such a terrible feature and even though the Logitech M510 has it as well it would be a far better mouse if it had a fixed, firm scroll wheel

Love the feature where you can press the side of your mouse and every item you have opened is displayed on your desktop....then you can click on the one you want.

It has this "Hyper Fast Scrolling" feature in which you can flick the scroll wheel and it keeps on rolling vs. stopping at a notch like most scroll wheels do

I bought this for the "hyper-fast" scrolling feature that I depended on with my now departed Performance MX mouse.

But this M705 has a little better handling and a couple other features such as the button nearer to you than the scroll wheel to easily switch from ratchet to smooth scrolling.

Anyhoo.....its a good solid mouse with some nice advanced features

As far as I can tell, there isn't anything in the software to disable this feature

Today I received this mouse, equipped with some of my favorite features - hyper-fast, free wheeled scroll button, extra thumb buttons (this one appears to have a third thumb button by pushing vertically down, making this a 6-button mouse), large size for my ape hands, and of course wireless with slim usb dongle.

The customizable buttons are a really nice feature as well.

The mouse wheel with the button to switch back and forth between a throttled roll and a free spin is such a great feature for when I'm working with large files in code editors and need to get down far quickly.

The G502 also has the dual-mode scroll wheel, and I appreciate that Logitech carried this handy feature over to the M705

A nice looking mouse with some nice features but laggy as heck even after messing with all the settings.

They feel good in your hands and have great features and then...it will stop functioning properly before it completely dies

super hand fit and in all functions is as smoothly responsive as you could ever want, without being jerky.

I'm also confused as to why Logitech Options isn't compatible with this mouse

Although I've tried Logitech's $66 MX Master and a different, $12 laser mouse, I still prefer the M705 as of this writing
