I sure wish logitech was still making quality hyper-scrolling mice like the vx nano.

My only complaint before it stopped working was that the scroll was a little too sensitive and had to fight with it to keep web pages from scrolling inadvertently.

I've had rapid-scroll mice from Logitech for about 10 years.

I turned it all the way down on my Mac, and it's still a little faster than I'd like, and I like a fast scrolling wheel

The wheel acts as a button as well as a scroll wheel and is special for two reasons: not only does it allow side-scrolling (left-right), it also has a button underneath to allow for Quantum Scrolling (I just made that term up), by which you basically take the breaks off and zoom through feeds and timelines like you're a photon traveling through empty space

Unless you really need a free rolling scroll wheel I wouldn't consider this mouse.
