Logitech MX Master 2S Wireless Mouse with Cross-Computer Con... - 2024 report by Whydis
Logitech MX Master 2S Wireless Mouse with Cross-Computer Control for Mac and Windows, Midnight Teal
Color:Midnight Teal
The ultimate precision mouse for power users. Harness the power of Logitech Flow and seamlessly move content between three computers. Scroll through documents and web pages faster and easier with the speed-adaptive scroll wheel....
The wheel has two settings: the normal settings which has some light clicks when used and a speed scroll setting which is just a free spin for very fast spinning.
Also it has this cam feature where if you scroll the wheel hard, it goes into a free spin and out of a ratchet mode.
The mouse wheel has free spin mode, and ratchet mode (selectable with a little toggle button above the wheel).
I love that when I need to scroll down a lot, if I spin the mouse wheel fast enough it will go into "Free-spin" mode until it slows down
The free spinning "hyper fast" scroll wheel confused me for a bit, but after I got used to it, I love it and bought a 2nd one
So I thought I would spend a little more and upgrade to the MX Master 2S. After so long with the other mouse, the feel was weird, but I figured I'd get over that in a little while
Excellent mouse, battery life is great, the feel is awesome
This mouse has a great feel during use and the hyper scrolling feature is awesome.
There is too much side to side movement, not enough weight and just a generally cheap feel
but I simply don't like the feel of it and is completely inaccurate as far as distance/momentum is concerned.
I don't like the recharge feature, would probably prefer just to change batteries.
Love the feature to change the scroll mouse from a click to a glide for long webpages
Logitech M720 Triathalon Multi-Device Wireless Mouse (910-004790) which I really recommend to anyone on a budget as it has all the critical features such as Flow, Hyper-Scroll, gesture button, and the ability to map all the buttons to functions you'd like for a third of the price if you don't care about its look.
great mouse, has some nicer features than previous models, battery life, responsiveness, better scroll wheel, but I do not like the new side thumb button layout
The features are meaningless for a mouse that will last for such a brief period before having problems, and you will have no recourse because you'll be outside your return window and will not find any form of support from Logitech to honor your warranty
The design is very comfortable and the weight is great, but it doesn't work
Excellent mouse when it works, but it has a fatal design flaw
Over all the feel is great and Logitech put out a good design
The mouse works smoothly, is comfortable to use, and the design is well thought out.
Very nice mouse and well designed but my only problem is the side forward and backward buttons are very small and hard to tell which one is which for someone with big fingers
I was intimidated by multi-button mouses (mice?) but found my hand getting uncomfortable during long work sessions
It fit my hand fairly well and the various touch points and surfaces were comfortable.
It is bulkier than the Apple mouse and not so stylish, but it fits my hand well and is very comfortable to use, which is more important to me than style
So far the 2S fits the bill, as well as my hand (I'm 6'4 and have large hands).
My hand doesn't feel fatigued or sore after hours of use, as happened with most other mice
The right and left mouse buttons have a very responsive tactile click when pressed.
It has a vertical scroll wheel on the top, a horizontal scroll wheel on the left side, two side buttons on the left (in a unique “yin-yang” position), the standard left/right buttons on top and a vertical scroll function button on the top.
The thumb scroll wheel is in the right spot for my thumb but the other buttons are not safe to use repeatedly
(I also added a bumper to the middle top button (not in photo) and now all buttons are very easy to reach and press.)
Secondly, the back and forward buttons have the same issue
The blue is much lighter than it shows, and the whole mouse is very blue, not just the hard plastic shiny parts
You see Logitech used this soft rubber grey material on 60% of the mouse's body, with the left and right buttons on the top being hard plastic, the result
Highly recommended (much better than my basic $10-15 cheaper plastic mouse I used before).
The thumb rest area is also less soft and more of a hard plastic feel, which I am also slightly disappointed by

There is a Bluetooth connectivity issue with this device.
All that innovation and they couldn't bother with USB-C
Bluetooth connectivity issues for many, horizontal scrolling is not executed well
If you're experiencing the connectivity issues after downloading the Logitech Options software on MacOS, what solved the problem for me was disconnecting the mouse from bluetooth and then reconnecting it using the unifying dongle (you have to download the unifying software off their website)
Type-C. Type-C is just easier to work with in general and my Android smartphone, and plenty of other gadgets I own use Type-C
So far so good, I expect it will break at some point, but no more wrist pain and the software seems to be good so far

a while later it doesn't work as it's supposed to and now it's nothing more than a ineffective paperweight.
Since it's a laser mouse I am able to use it on a glass table top as well as on blankets and wooden tables.
Otherwise, it's greatly reduced huge-project-induced hand/wrist pain, and will improve productivity
