I still love to play the original "Dirt Track Racer" on pc and this wheel and pedal setup really works well for that.
The pedals aren't great, but you can pair this wheel with a nice set of pedals and have a really good setup for relatively cheap
I have not used any other wheels or used the wheel with any other games besides GT 5 Prologue, but this setup is bad a$$. It gives you much more control than the hand-held controller
Plan ahead and give the wheel a stable setup before you start.
this wheel combined with wheel stand pro stand for this wheel made for a great setup.
The experience is so much more fun, and still challenging!It works with GT4 and GT5, and I think it is money well spent if you're serious about Gran Turismo
You will not get a good experience with the wheel without it
Works great and enhances the experience for driving games quite nicely.
My last point is that this wheel just does not deliver a very strong driving experience.
Although the children seemed to pick it up no problem and like the idea that they were racing "for real".While the wheel does expand the experience of driving, especially if you stick yourself in "first person" perspective in the cockpit of the cars of some of these games, bad response from some games can ruin that experience just as fast
Although the force feedback of the Logitech PlayStation 3 Driving Force GT Racing Wheel is not as good as that of the ultimate Thrustmaster T500RS which is the other official steering wheel for Gran Turismo 5, it costs way less to purchase as well as to mount
The lack of feel really seems to detract from the realism aspect of owning a wheel
I did not like the lack of counter spin as you approached dead center as this left you trying to over correct, which in turn can cost you a spin out
The only complaint I had was the lack of a proper shifter as well as the cheap plastic pedals without the clutch
Then use the up and down toggle on the left to set your preferences this will help you when you think that the car isn't handling as good as when you were using your regular controller......enjoy.

the sterring wheel itself is fantastic but we still don`t know how everything on it works
I'm giving it a one star because although it's packed with goodies whats the point if it all depends on a flimsy little connector that 9 out of 10 races fell off

(b) the connector is crappy, does not lock into the wheel and is on a weird angle that leads to it coming loose or just falling out
