However, in my case, my Camry has BT connectivity, so I could use a cheap, "dumb" vent mount and still automatically launch another driving app when my phone connected to the car's BT system (with a rule-based utility like Tasker for Android).ZT does have good support for handling messages - integration with WhatsApp is very nice

I recommend using Google Assistant or Siri depending on your phone and get a sturdy mount for your phone.

I use wireless charging and had a hard time issuing the magnetic mount in the lower placement.

This placement, however, caused my phone to be top-heavy and then tilt and slide around until it fell off the vent mount

It doesn't protrude much into the vents (a generic mount i had broke my vent) and supports the phone well

The mount itself works great in my truck (Ford F-350) and is one of the best that I've used because it is strong and stays in place and my phone doesn't fall of it

My other issue is I have fat front vents, so I have to use it on the top of my dashboard and in the spring/summer/fall, it gets HOT here, my truck can get easily 150 degrees, so I have to take it off and bring the little gadget with me, instead of risking it getting cooked, but that's not the mount's problem, unless there's some way to protect it from high heat.
