The effects are excellent, and feel and quality of parts are wonderful.

Fortunately my Pro Fx8 is under warranty--I plan to get it fixed and to replace it with Allen & Heath ZED60-10FX that also has faders and same number of channels and the same great effects as the older ZED10 FX

The sound effects are kinda nice to have but since i'm using this as a podcast mixer its not really relevent.

I just absolutely love the effects on this mixer

Maybe these effects would be adequate for a solo acoustic guitar/vocals-type gig, but for my electronic music project I require something a lot more substantial.
