Arrived in excellent condition in a short amount of time.
For the price, this used game was in great condition and exactly what my son wanted
Upon removing the Jewel case form the shipping box, I noticed it was dented, or pushed in near the top middle of the case (The shipping box was in excellent condition).
That kind of stinks as I have in the past used motion to get a read on defenses.

I was shocked that it was in stock and so much cheaper than at Toys R Us
The game Madden 25 is a true football lovers dream come true with all the great features of past games combined and some new ones that will take some time to work out but all and all it's a great game for football fanatics all over...
It's time to find the features that worked in the past, what works now (even it that answer may be 'nothing') and refine the game rather than dump more useless features that results in less-than-spectacular results in the gameplay and user experience
The "new" owner mode harkens back to some of the less successful features in earlier iterations of the franchise.
Single Player:The missing features that many Madden fans were angry about last year have been included from the jump (rather than being added on as an afterthought to appease the torch-bearing mob)
Madden 25 xbox 360 game has excellent graphics, clear game plays, all the teams and names and is very fun to play!
Online play is frustrating due to controls not working in a timely manner
I love the online game play of this and all the new features are great!!
I like this game, best madden thus far, finally for once the online play isn't hardly laggy like in the past, & it's only laggy every once in a blue moon.
It seems every version has major bugs ('11) or bad game play tweaks ('12) or completely missing
The tackling is horrific, instead of being tackled, players stumble 4 yards forward making goal-line stops nearly impossible
Again your tackles are only good at blocking on the strongside, weakside
I've had instances where players would purposely get shifted into position as a tackle/stiff arm/Truck is supposed to take place in a particular part on the field.
, defensive tackles cannot chase down WR's in the open field every play, and 1 safety cannot cover sideline to sideline
However the blocking and bad tackling allows the drunk RBs to get yards every time making this a running league game, while the real NFL moves more towards passing you have to move more toward running in Madden.
As for Directv sunday NFL pass, it works perfectly for me and I use it every Sunday.
On any important passing down, you pretty much have to play man and get to the QB to have any hope of an incomplete pass (unless the receiver drops the ball, which also happens too frequently).
It makes ME feel guilty of making a bad pass and being at the mercy of the defense.
This is annoying as you could have a wide open receiver and the pass will fall short no matter what
Pass blocking, much like run blocking, is far too strong on default settings
But my point isn't about it's shortcomings anymore, because if it was, this is where I'd bring up the broken "Coaches Challenges", or the lifeless text-menu's and emotionless futility of playing through more than a season
The menu's are a little faster than last year, which were way too slow
The very slight audible & menu lag I mention below either isn't present or isn't as noticeable on the 360
I find the menu itself incredibly counter-intuitive and confusing relative to NCAA Football 14s similarly styled menu
I know even hardcore Madden lovers have hated the menus and it has constantly been criticized by professional reviewers
I have been a loyal fan of Madden since it started and there was no way I would miss out on the 25th Anniversary of Madden.
Its a great game i love it and all madden fans should buy
Single Player:The missing features that many Madden fans were angry about last year have been included from the jump (rather than being added on as an afterthought to appease the torch-bearing mob)
I may try to enjoy this game as much as I can, and being optimistic, I will probably buy next year's Madden, hoping that you fixed all of these problems and went back to the basics.
I was concern about the fans in the stadium are still like Madden 09 fans
I'm a sports gamer and I miss the days when there were a dozen football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer and golf games to choose from
-- this was my biggest complaint although there are some other things I was not too happy with, but mostly just the mechanics which I will get used to, but I mean getting a touchdown on 3rd down that gets ruled incomplete for no reason will really ruin your day and force you to go for 3 which I
One day I thought, hey, I like football
Tech support passed me to an EA number that is in office every day EXCEPT today Sunday, the day I'm trying to watch my game
After 30 minutes of playing this Madden 25 I'm investigating my return policy rights and considering playing something else... as much as it will suck
The offensive line blocking is horribly overpowered on default settings, but luckily EA Sports had the foresight to provide sliders which allow us customers to "tweak" (aka "fix") our game experience
It seems as though the offensive line frequently gets pushed so far back that the runner has no where to go once the ball is handed off
Madden offensive lines are impossibly good and hardly ever miss a blitz pick up
Another thing they could have done was simply have a "team" rating that would have been used to slow nano-blitzes because the line was just that good not that you really had to see it on the screen.
The offensive line is far too dominant- Contract renegotiations and free agency remain stale and unrealistic
It's very rewarding to see that big TE or power back bowl over smaller DBs or out of position LBs with trucks and stiff arm punches alike.
Good in that actions such as stiff arms, hurdles, jukes, spin moves, dives, and the new stumble recovery look very realistic.
I've had instances where players would purposely get shifted into position as a tackle/stiff arm/Truck is supposed to take place in a particular part on the field.
Stiff arms, spins, and jukes became far more realistic
Even power guys, when they stiff arm, end up dragging the defender sometimes 10 yards down the field in that animation
You get tackled then flop around on the ground like your having a seizure, only your knees are behind your head and your arms are coming out of your butt (and by the way your guy is injured)
Didn't like he couldn't control the guy who had the ball.
One guy can do what your entire company has failed to do: make YOUR CONTENT available for viewing
There is a distinct lack of tackles appearing organic (or any impact between players or gang tackles) and instead you get an overload of frantic collisions and guys knocking into and off one another plus bizarre looking pileups

Game constantly FREEZES the console and has to be removed and the console restarted , only to freeze up again, google "Madden 25 Freeze" to see all the complaints
I was shocked that it was in stock and so much cheaper than at Toys R Us
Madden 25 freezes intermittently on my brand new Xbox360 and apparently does it on the other gaming systems according to my research on the web
This is a bug riddled freeze prone software product EA released without any quality control whatsoever
What is new is that Madden 25 freezes or cannot carry functions that worked flawlessly in the past.
By ignoring the development of many fundamental facets of both gameplay and franchise mode, the game struggles to impress despite some very nice additions
It almost seems like EA took several months off of Madden development hoping to dupe us with repetitive animations, commentary and my personal pet peeve, the horrible camera angles on play highlights.
EA Madden: PERHAPS the Call of Duty of sports, as far as development goes

Then you simulate at least 60% of the game (depending how good your defense is at getting you the ball back or how bad your offense is)
When you're playing a career, at the end of the season you'll see the top QBs (Brady, Manning, Rodgers) with 28 TDs and 25 Ints.-The "Precision Modifier" is a stupid gimmick and just gives more power to an already overpowered offense.-EA completely overdid the usage of the zone read
Now I can't stop them at all on all pro with my number 1 defense and their number 2 offense
Being a fan of calling a solid defensive game, the first thing I noticed is that the CPU's offense is nearly impossible to stop.
