The rubber material that fits the sprocket of the magic bullet motor gets obliterated somehow and all the tips disintegrate making a gross, rubber-powder mess all over underneath/inside my magic bullet motor

Correct size, not spillage, and just overall works

I use my Magic Bullet to blend hot coffee and never had issues with the original cross blade lid (at least for the first two or so years.

Get a bristle brush to clean the crevices

Not sure why “warmth” is a factor here

There are many non-oem versions of this available but this is the real deal.
