Love this car mount

I found the mount to be much better than other vent car mount I’ve had.

I'm a firm believer in magnetic vent mounts for their convenient placement and ease of use

This is by far the best vent mount I have ever had.

So far this is the best car mount I have tried for my phone

It’s very good phone mount both the clamp and the phone but for those who have a Hard Plastic case on the phone it will not hold the phone under the case it will slide down and fall off, with the soft silicone it will work fine, also as I found out if the case has any texture once the phone get hot the metal plate will detach I did not want to buy another case so what I had to do was lightly sand the back of my case With a fine grit Paper and used a little super

So I have to downgrade to 1 star due to poor durability, and am shopping to find another more robust mount.

update august 2021: Bought this mount in March 2020 and today the black adjuster broke on my mid drive

This thing is surprisingly solid and nothing like other vent mounts, I have recommended it to several friends and they have agreed as well, its just a beast.

My old magnetic mount is too shallow and the radio knob was in the way

Amazing mount, better than any suction

I've never had luck with the suction type mounts and many of the vent clip type mounts do not clip securely

The mount clamps down very well to my car vent

Keep in mind that the lip going into the vent might be wider than the vertical slots sitting behind the vent but the screwing clamp really secures the mount and hasn’t been an issue for me.

The vent clip on the unit: If you can't seem to fully tighten your mount to the vent so that it doesn't budge (which seems to be a universal problem among vent mounts), a piece of rubber should correct this problem
