The markers work just fine, and the ink seems to come off easily (some rubbed off when I accidentally put my hand on it).

Much better than a regular calendar hanging on the refrigerator like I used to have
Usually with similar items like this that I've purchased in the past, the pens were garbage, but all of these pens work great and don't stain the calendar

I did buy some other markers with fine tips so that I could write smaller in case we need to, but if not, then they are just replacements for when the current markers run out of ink......

When buying this, account for the fact that you will probably want to buy an eraser as well, ideally magnetic, and if you want to write anything longer than 2 or 3 words per line, some ultra fine tip pens (and maybe a magnetic cup to keep them in as well, if they aren't magnetic markers

This dry erase magnet calendar helps keep our family organized.
Great product and the magnet is relatively strong so I don't have to worry about it sliding or falling off!
The magnets on the pens are a little weak and may slide down a bit if you shove the door closed too hard, but this does not detract from the ease of use of the calendar.
The magnet for the markers is very weak, I have a cup that holds them.

Love the board but the only way I get it clean each month is using dry erase board spray

I get those things, I'm going to update the review, in case the staining turns out to be the board's fault and not the pens/erasers'
After reading a few reviews that mentioned the markers staining the board, I threw the original ones away and purchased some Expo fine point markers and they work great, no stains so far
