Unfortunately, my vents are a bit too recessed for these to work great.

I was a bit skeptical because some of the reviews indicated that these will pull of when removing the phone.

My vents are rounded and sunken into the dash a bit so its not a great fit.

These are every bit as good, or better, than more expensive ones I have bought in the past

Installing metal plate improves the performance a bit but still not reliable

The only issue I almost had was the outer edge of my vent sticks out a bit, so it seemed the magnet on my phone wasn't going to reach the magnet on my vent.

We did notice that if the metal plate was located at the bottom of the phone, the phone would tend to drift/twist when jostled due to it being a bit top heavy...but simply placing the phone upside down on the mount, so most of the weight was below the mount, solved that little problem.

But once it fell when I was making a sharp turn and it scares me a little bit

Do your researchAlso because of the way it rests in the cradle it wobbles quite a bit on bumpy roads.

Place it on the vent louver is easy, but taking it off is a bit of a hassle as it sticks to the phone so well.

However, if your vents are sent in a bit then your phone won't fit

It did shift my one case a little bit, but only marginally.

I really like how quick and convenient it is to install and mount the phone; however, I wish the prongs were a little bit longer and stronger

When it arrived - worried a bit about the size - but it is so good and works amazing.

first one was used in a Honda Accord, now I have a Subaru and the vents are a bit different so needed one not "stretched out".

Sturdy I have a credit card phone case and it doesn't drop my heavy phone like other cases.
