I couldn't remove the magnet from my phone cover so wanted to try this item and really like that it is adjustable and securely tightens to my air vent!

this item was great until it fell apart one week ago, couldn't get it back together, seems like the screw is stripped.

I would NOT buy this item again and I would not recommend it for any but the smallest of phones.

Affordable, secured, and magnetic (so it's not bulky), and it is best mount out there!Highly recommend this item!!

The magnetic hold is extremely powerful and definitely won't ever let your phone drop, but unfortunately the rest of the construction fell apart from just normal use

The holding is not strong enough and the phone falls down, it doesn't work with Toyota Corolla vent neither and it is supposed to be universal.

This is a great little device for your phone when you use GPS.

Need to modify my mount location as my A/C vents tilt down from the weight.

The whole device was difficult keep in a fixed orientation so that my phone would be positioned appropriately.

The device often came loose on its ball-hinge and so the phone would often "flop" and face down

Find that because the clamp does not close parallel but closes on an angle I was limited as to where I could install it so that it wouldn't slip

, I have a Focus RS with angled vertical vents making it really difficult to find a phone mount that works well - but this mount works as advertised

It's a LOT smaller than the original mount too which I like as it makes room for other things in my case.

If you even slightly over tighten it, the plastic strips out and the whole things is useless

Like, this thing has literally one job, and saying it does it poorly would be paying it a compliment.

I used to have a spring vent clip thing but over time it just wasn't as effective

The nice thing about using the vent in my cars to mount to, is that the device (phone) ends up a little closer to me so I can touch it easier and read it as well

The good thing about this is the adjustable bold that helps you hold on to the vent fin

Only issue is, it will restrict the vent u mount it on from turning

This is fine if you vent has THICK blades but for my it barely held tight and would sag when I put a phone on it

Attach a small square of velcrow to one of the vent slats, and the other to one of the clamps on the unit.

Works perfectly in my wifes cars with horizontal vent slats, but not so much in the vertical slats of my truck

Overall, I'm sure this works great for horizontal vent slats, just didn't work out for me.

I have a ‘06 Scion xB and the vent slats are doubled making the area to clip to about 3x the width of regular vents

I like how you are able to open up the vent clip connection and then tighten it.

The magnet could be stronger, but I love the adjustable clip for the vent!

Between the weight of the iPhone, the heavy metal magnet in my iPhone case & the weight of the vent clip, it weighs down the vent

By nature of design, the overall stability depends on how well the air vents in your car stay put, they may flip around and with that, move the phone somewhat, but I found this very useful

The pivot works pretty well, but I found that when removing the mount from the vent of the rental car, the rubber pads came off the mount and stuck to the vent louver

The others I've tried, after falling off and after awhile the rubber wore out and the metal prongs scratched my vent louvers.
