Works great hold my iPhone 7 plus like a champ.

The magnetic hold is extremely powerful and definitely won't ever let your phone drop, but unfortunately the rest of the construction fell apart from just normal use

I like how the clip is secured to the vent and the magnet is quite strong (holds my note 4 with no problem.

To hold a Note 4 with Otterbox, the piece of metal had to be affixed onto the outside of the Otterbox, otherwise the hold was not strong enough
