When I was driving the mount just suddenly loose and fell .Clip needs more grip or adhesive so it can be properly placed

I bought the twist lock as opposed to the other type of vent mounts because i felt like the twist lock wouldn't ever loosen up on you as opposed to the plastic on the other vent mounts

If you pull your phone straight off from the magnet it might dislodge the mount from your vent, but for the most part all you have to do is remove your phone from an angle to the side and 9/10 times the mount will stay on your vent just fine.

Knowing that vent-mounts are notoriously unstable, I decided to try the Twist-lock option available from WizGear.

Unfortunately this mount has not worked very well with a vertical vent design holding a Note 8.

This mount is a great improvement over that design.

With this i end up putting the mount on the bottom vent so the weight can rest on the bottom lip of the vent and flipping the mount up side to have articulation upwards instead of downwards .... vast improvement than the slide on

Does wiggle a little depending on road conditions - but that is also due to my vehicles vent systems and not the mount.

Be wary, though, if your car's air vents aren't strong and can be adjusted with your finger to a certain position, this device as well as other air vent mounts won't work very well

Update review -the clip broke not even worth it!After using for few months the mount that hooks on to the air vent came really loose.

I thought the mechanism of this one was far superior to the other vent mount designs, and it hasn't disappointed yet.

I decided to keep this and modify it as most similar mounts probably have the same issues.

I also like the adjustable mount that some others don't have.
