Jeep Wrangler on a bumpy road

not once has it popped off when I removed my phone quickly or went over bumpy roads.

but if use the magnet inside the case, doesn't hold on bumpy roads

The magnets are strong enough to hold an iPhone 6 on bumpy roads in mountain driving and back road driving at a spirited pace

I think my iPhone 7 plus is heavy for this mount because anytime I go over a bumpy road or anything it begins to tilt downward

It does slip a bit with very bumpy roads

On reasonably smooth roads, holds it horizontal on it's long axis (handy for map display) with only occasional nudges to keep orientation.

I put the metal plates (two of them) inside the case without using the adhesive and so far excellent grip even on bumpy roads with the Plus-size, heavier phone.

The clamp doesn't always stay secure and will drop if you drive on bumpy roads.

BUT whenever I go over a speed bump or hit any uneven road (at speed limit or slower) my phone always rotates a quarter of a turn or less which is slightly annoying but bearable

The only thing I found was that even though the magnet is pretty good, my phone does move a little when i'm making a sharp turn or if the road is really bumpy

(I currently use a Pixel 2 XL, which, with the case, isn't a lightweight and is fairly large).The magnet is just strong enough to hold the phone in place while driving rough winter roads.

I would suggest a little holder at bottom for phone or stronger magnet as if your on a rough road the phone will fall from the other piece

Works exactly as it should and has no problem holding my phone (although one corner slightly rests against the radio wall).

Find that because the clamp does not close parallel but closes on an angle I was limited as to where I could install it so that it wouldn't slip

It's a LOT smaller than the original mount too which I like as it makes room for other things in my case.

A little disappointed with this as with

Purchased twice, shame on me, both broke as it was being tightened.

Holds phone securely and allows the A/C vent to work as it should.

This usually doesn't occur with WizGear products, so im genuinely confused as to why it simply fell apart
